Back out to dam soon and this time I want to stay away from tobacco if possible. Can anyone give me some tips on smoking weed pure?

I have smoked pure in dam before but ended up with a throat that felt real cut up after a day, ruining my toking ability for the rest of the trip So i want to avoid this if I can. Not really up for the mixers either. I do like a vaporizer so that will be good some of the time but I would like to smoke a spliff pure at times as well.

Im not a pro smoker, but have smoked weed for 15+ yrs so it dont faze me but I do tend to cough more than average smoker if toking hard.

Any tips for me how best to smoke pure? roach/papers/type of weed/ anything that might help...................Thanks

For paper, you can try OCB Crystal, no gum, no chemical.
For the weed, try to find one not too dry, for the strain, i don't know which one is better.

I only smoke pure. 99% of the time when I'm in the Dam I just use the pre-rolled empty Cones and fill 'em to the brim with my weed of choice. The have a paper filter on them. I've never had a problem with sore throat and I was smoking 3-5 grams a day!

Most coffeeshops have some form of vaporizer. In particular I'm fond of the Verdampers available at Anyday and a few other shops. I smoked massive amounts of weed and hash from one last week ( with Bleak and Gapie) and my throat was fine the next day.

if you're interestd in smoking in the healthiest (or in truth the least unhealthy) way then surely only a vapouriser will do. i love the volcano vaps.

for joints ive moved onto smoking with RAW papers. non bleached and natural glue. you can notice the extra burn taste when you go back to using rizlas again.

also, in joints ony ever use plain hemp roaches. never ever use flyers or train tickets or any other glossy or printed peice of card. when your joint gets quite low and hot, the heat passing through the joint can only be releasing some of the hoirrible inky/plasticy shit form the roach. some of those flyers actually burn green. you know thats not good for your lungs/brain

Forget RAW. You should be using Smoking Eco's or Smoking Browns. Definitely agree with the hemp tips

Im not asking how to smoke pure Im asking for tips how to make it enjoyable as possible and the kind people before you have given me some great tips that I will use.

I suppose the trick to easing the burn and cough is to cool down the smoke, all things considered.

If not a stone or similar, maybe a 2-3 inch piece of plastic drinking straw. Funny sight would be to using one of those kiddie straws with animals or loops.

great advice man dont worry bout the health risks linked to tobak , and to say a doob tastes better with a mix WHAT !!!?????????? I smoke mixed (well a wee bit near the roach) and there is no way that a J tastes better mixed with tobak !! If you smoke pure you get the taste of the weed !!

I switch to pure towards the end of a Dam trip, but a spliff burns good with a bit of baccy.
