Happy birthday back at you rufus,
Still recovering from the days toking, the black widow was kinda special, in taste, smell and the buzz that came on when I popped downstairs to stones, had coffee, nice and creamy and gram of mr nice. Lasted 25 mins then back upstairs to satnav who was recovering nicely.
Satnav wanted some trance music and we knew just the place..coffeeshop 36... Hash, tropical looza and large coke. . Piped the hash, zero zero and little black widow using the crib pipe and then hit a joint of silver pearl. Great tunes to lift us up, great vibe if you like it trance. Wasn't too loud, just nice in window seats at the back overlooking damrak. .
Drinks finished satnav chose route 99, off damrak. 2 gram of some hash, nice and supple and c2 coffees, sat in smoking room and listened to some trances up remixes of some 90s anthems, show me love, I feel love, satisfaction, great mashup. Satnav commented on how nice the coffee was here and how she still loved the vibe even with the change of music. . Well worth stopping in before your train ride home. . Prix dami looked kinda fancy now and bright but we walked past so that I could see if I was right in the portion of the games console shop we found on last trip...right out of route 99 the right at top of little street, walk down a little way and the classic games console shop is there. Nostalgic. And geeky lol.
Still not lost the lighter rufus gave me but umbrella seems to have .. Erm.... Gone astray, oops. .
Gotta say that the apartment is great, clean, coffee maker for a fresh brew, heating, ps2, bongs and pipes, LCD tv and the atmoshphere and noise around one of amstedams busiest areas, the smells, the sounds, the sudden silences broken by the jingle of a cycle bell and then the music kicks back in.
Heaven

Re: 16th-19th january
Really enjoying this trip report!!
Re: 16th-19th january
One of the hashes I got from club media is just gorgeous, small flame and just crumbles into a flour like powder. Never had a hash like it. Smoking it in with the last of the basjoes jack herer. Very spicy. All is quiet and calm outside apart from the occasional psst heard through the open window and the occasional clacking of suitcase wheels.
Got a pure black widow with some hash in for tomorrow niights t and t. Check out at 11am, need to buy some cards lols.
Popped into hunters again earlier and had a strange conversation with the budtender and two of his friends, turns out it was his birthday too, that's two other people on this trip celebrating...... Gram chocolope please and coffee. Hmmmmm .....
Got me thinking, lost.... Is Amsterdam somewhere I keep coming back to until I realise I died on my first mushroom trip with the boys in 2004. . Do I keep coming back because the trip I had that time made me leave a little of me here. ...... After another couple if tokes on this I just thought..... Fuck that, I just like being here and smoking till I'm grinning from ear to ear.

Yep Cisco, I turned 38 yesterday. Cheers mate. Also was Rufus's birthday and the budtender from Hunters. 3 on the same day. More bizzarness!!cisco wrote:great report dude and is a happy birthday in order ?
I was up at 8 and out to the card shop off Damrak. Cards bought and back to tidy up the apartment. Using up the last of my bags I made a couple of pure. Silver pearl, black widow mix and a cheese. Checked out after a chat with Maria from Damcity. Thanked her again for for fantastic deal with the apartment. If you can book the Crib Sativa at least once while in town you will love it. If anyone is reading this and is staying in the near future..... NOTE.... COFFEE FILTERS ARE IN THE CUPBOARD... OPEN YOUR EYES BEFORE YOU GO AND BUY SOME MORE!! On that note its started to rain... still not found my umbrella. Headed over to Nemo to kill some time. It was fun after the black widow silver pearl mix. Spent an hour or so in here lift hopping and generally acting like a kid. The 3d show was really good stoned.
Next stop was voyagers again. Only grabbed coffees here and smoked one of the cheese I had made earlier. Buzzing nicely our next stop was the house of Bols, near the Museum quarter. This is definately worth a stop if you fancy doign something touristy. Interesting tour and loads of bottles to smell. Brillliant. Free cocktail and taster of a few of the flavoured Bols behind the bar.
A Tram took us back to Dam square where i stopped off and grabbed some John Sinclair from Abraxas, 14 euro a gram and pre bagged for the t n t at Nes. Arrived at Nes at 4 just as Dc was opening and Gapie was already there. Had a nice chat with the guys whilst I got more mashed off some of the Grey Area stuf Gapie was making. Very nice smoke and Gapie rolls like a pro. Concerned that I was too battered to find our way to the airport we said our farewells just after 5, left our remaining baggies and the pure black widow and mystery hash with Gapie and headed out into the cold to make our way home.
Got lost trying to get the right train back to Schipol, 14/15 used to be labeled up as airport lines, but not today and as usual took about 30 mins of walking through the airport to get to our plane!! Come on airline planners.... Don't you know how fucked our feet are by the time we reach the airport!!!! Put my flight as near to the scanners as possible... PLEASE!!!
Had a great time, met some cool people and smoked some nice stuf.
Coffeeshop DC blew me away Monday night and most of Tuesday. Zombiefied!! Brilliant
Vanilla Kush from Voyagers had me buzzing around and smoked well.
Cheese and Bubble gum from Hunters both had great flavours and smell.
The silver pearl... well, strong shit... Am I alive, is this pergutory... lol ... Will definately have it again.
Black widow, for me was something special, the smell, like walking into a carpet shop with all them new carpets hanging mixed in with a piney smell. Tasted like it smelt and was some strong strong shit. Mixing this with the SP gave me some really mad rushes whilst in Nemo. Brilliant.
See you all at 420.... Booked

Thanks for reading guys, I found doing a little report whilst there is so much easier than when I get back. Most of this was done on my little 8gb ipod touch 2 using the wireless from Greenhouse effect, it reached nicely in the apartment, a couple of entries were made using my Nokia 5800 on tMobile.ftcarer wrote:Great write-up mate , nice to hear Hunters has good Bubblegum back & know just what you mean about finding the right train back
FT - The bubblegum suprised me. (I ended up smoking most of it, even though it was bought for Mrs Satnav
Bless her, I noticed that she didn't seem to be in as much pain as usual from M.E. after a few smokes. Hmmmmmmmm...... hope she doesnt start on my stash now.
Not a problem Gapie and thank you. The hash was less than 10 euro, i think around 7/8 euro maybe but you are right.... it was nice, I loved the silkiness of it as it crumbled. Like powdered cocoa.gapie wrote:happy bday and nice to meet ya man and yer girlfriend to

Thanks to Dc for hosting the T n T at Nes, for the birthday joint and when i got home I pulled out one of my old 12" metal record cases.... fuck me man..... Now I really remember how heavy they are! Never mind running through an airport with one!!
Thanks to Amsterdam Cribs/Damcity for the Sativa apartment, Perfect.... Now, if only I could remember where I hid that Joint for someone on here to find....... Was it in a coffee filter box?? hmmmmm... No... seriously, I can't remember...
On a side note, I usually listen to Pink Floyd whilst wandering round Amsterdam, Downloaded like 19 albums, it just seemed to be the right music.... This time I'd downloaded a few episodes of Leftys Lounge Podcast from Dopefiend. Brilliant choice!! Good music, a bit of comedy thrown in and canna based.
For some reason and somewhere on my Dam travels I must have seen/heard the ending to Human Traffic.... As we left and the plane took off a little voice in the back of my head heard the following and a tingle went up my spine....
Well, that's almost it from me and my friends, back to mundane Monday. I guess my point is, I think we're all fucked up in our own way, ya know? But we're all doing it together. We're freestylin on the buckled wheel of life, trapped in a world of eternal dialogue. Like Bill Hicks said: "Its an insane world, but i'm proud to be part of it."
2 half jars left.... Rocklock and Warlock and 420 to dream about.........
