Why I love Cannabis!

Hello fellow tokers! 
I'm not new here.....have been reading for a while and adding the occassional post.
I have been going to the Netherlands since the mid 1980's.
I smoked once when I was 15 and did not try it again until I was in my 30's!
I never smoked weed/hash in between those ages but did drink alcohol a fair bit.
I was in a long-term relationship with a Dutch national and can speak ok Dutch.
I began smoking Cannabis again about 8 years ago after taking a toke on a friends' spliff in a UK pub! Nothing to do with Amsterdam at all.
Since my second toke......I realised that it made me feel very good...I mean VERY good. Much better than alcohol. Much better than anti-depressant medication. Much better than exercise!
It lifts my mood. It enhances my musical creativity. It even softens my arthritis and helps me sleep.
This is my body......I should be allowed to ingest any substance I choose into it.
I would love to grow my own. I would love to be able to buy a naturally-growing plant and do whatever I choose with it. I can't - I have a career to think about.
I go to Amsterdam for weed and hashish. If they bring a law in to stop me purchasing, I will stop going there - there are a thousand other places I have not yet seen. I have seen all of the tourist attractions in Amsterdam, so if the wietpas comes into effect, there will be no reason for me to go there again.
I appreciate that this may seem ridiculous to some, but it is my feeling on the subject.
I am a professional person. I am not a child. I absolutely resent other people dictating what I may put into my body.
When I go to the Dam for Koninginendag, I'll give the city a fair few € in tax.
If they let me!
