Tangerine Dream

Post by repent »

hey all

ive just got back from the dam from my 3rd visit and this time i went to visit barneys, i havnt been befor bec the price of weed there is alot more so i stuck to 420, green place a bajoes

how ever as i was staying around the corner i thought id give it a bash, as i went in i met the nicest budtender of my life and i asked to look at the pinapple and the red berry as i was about to pick one a guy more or less ran into the shop and asked is it in yet is it in yet, the budtender smiled and asked if me and my mate could wait a moment.

we looked at each other like wtf and the tender pulled a tub with a fresh batch of tangerine dream and the guy was jumping up and down like a kid the buds were massive and long and the smell was amazing as soon as he served the other guy we told him not to put it away and ordered a gram right away.

i cant remeber but i think it was 15e a gram we took it back to the apartment and in the bong it went, this was one of the best tripy highs ive ever had it was amazing and the best weeds ive ever smoked in the dam and i will defo have this again when i go back in may

just my 2 cents worth of this weed

I've heard quite differing reports regarding TD, this is probably the most positive. With a strain like this the flavour really needs to come through strong, and from what ive heard it doesn't really...just a mild citrus burst on the first pull.
How many strains do i rip on the daily...

I tried this mid-December. Overall I was impressed with the weed. It did not, however smell or taste like tangerine. As mentioned above, there was a citrusy taste on the first pull, aside from that it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. My personal opinion is that it is a good strain, however I can't see any justification for the e14-15 pricetag.

I tried some at C/S Amnesia in December. They charged 12.60gm for 5gms, not great, but not bad either. As for the gear, I agree with mlester187, no Tangerine and barely a hint of citrus. The effects were nice, the price manageable - I give it three stars out of five, and that's being generous.
As for paying 15e for this gear, not me, not ever. Bet this gear will be near 17e by this time next year. Another prediction that I have been making since last summer is that the first 20e gear will be in late spring 2012. Can anyone say Jamaican for 12e?
Oh well, it's the price we pay.

For people looking for citrus flavours, i've had people recommend the following...

Lemon Haze - Hill Street Blues (apparently it's the lick although i have never purchased there)
Lemon O.G. - Green Place

There's nothing worse than insinuating that a strain is going to taste a certain way and then it doesn't, dunno why i'm acting surprised then when im not.

I also got some from Amnesia, in January (two weeks ago). There is not a strong citrus flavor after the first puff but it definitely had a nice strong sativa high.

Comment on the strain, not the helpful people on this site trying to give their opinion on things. Fair enough if you want to voice your opinion on 'wasting money' on the CC but no need to be rude about it dude.
