But it might help if we can all come to an agreement on what each of us are going to pay for the use of his boat if HB does'nt state what he wants.

As we are currently unsure on the length of the boat trip, but anything about the 1 1/2 - 2 hour mark sounds ok to my?. But to put my thought on the cost I'd say if the trip is between 90-120mins then unless HB states otherwise then anything from €20-€30 sounds reasonable to me. So I'd suggest in the middle of that, €25 per person. Any futher thoughts anyone?.
I have requested a reservation of two (2) tours each of two (2) hours duration. A discussion of what you are willing or prepared to pay does not hold much relevance, for me it sure doesn't, until I recieve a reply inregards to that matter from HB. It would seem to be in HBs best interest to suggest at least a range for our donations.

@08-420. Your mate is more than welcome to join us and has been added to the crew.

As I recall the suggested donation for St. Nic was 10 euros per person but I guess it depends how many people turn up. Fewer people = higher donation. Those who can afford it might also consider a generous tip.

With luck we can get a good crowd to meet at Voyagers because it's central and easy to find.

Does HB own or just run Voyages?. Not much relevance I know, but thinking if everyone going on the boat buys there smoke for the trip at Voyages then he might let us decide afterwards what to "donate" while others get a fixed price?. Just a thought after a few beers tonight lol.

Either way, yeh recall about the st. nic donation mention on there site or something. But for a 90-120 min trip (did someone mention to arranging having a 2 hour trip on his boat?) with a quick stop (possably 2) for a fly and buy I'd still pay a good €20. Or what ever HB wants and extra for the skipper.

As to the costs of the boat trip, I think that a donation to HB in the range of 15e - 20e pp would be good with tips of cash/weed going to the skipper. I have sent HB a PM and made this offer to him and await his reponse. I also enquired about boarding close to Voyagers as this seems the most likely meeting venue.

Well if we say €15-€20 range and thats more than he wants then HB can give the rest to the skipper and as said we can give the skipper tips etc anyways. Sure it will all sort itself out by april.

By the way has there been any mention of a time for this trip or are we going to wait and see what HB's skipper can be available for first?. I'm easy on any time and have no preference just as long as it's still light\ish.

We are looking at 2 trips of 2 hours each so, I would think that the first tour should depart around 12:00 - 12:30ish? Gives us time to fit in both tours and still have the late afternoon open for the winning coffeeshop T&T.

noon sounds perfect to me, 1st or 2nd tour doesn't matter as long as HB has space for the waiting crew. Did HB already reply to question of the costs?

btw if the weather is nice I would love to join a boaty or St. Nic tour another day too... as I want to take some pictures... 8)

I have not heard back from HB as of yet, only just sent the PM this afternoon.
There seems to be a small interest in a second tour not linked to the 420 celebrations that might be best planned on another thread so as not to confuse the two. :? :?

Excellent news then and would be great to get us all on 1 trip even if it will take 3 boats. We gonna have a draw or something to see who goes in the bigger boat? lol. Though in fairness first come first served\choice of boat on the day seems fair to me.

This boat trip is looking like it may well be an event thats refered to for years to come if most turn up and we get a few boats going :)
