But I do often build my stamina up pretty well after a couple of days, hence why I'm getting there to have 2 days to work myself into the 420 meet lol.

Like I said, either way for me happy to go with the majority. But that idea goes both ways as a few members are only in for the 2 nights anyways I think?, thus dont get in till the 19th.
Think we may have to have a vote for which day, say the 19th 21st or 22nd we plan to have the boat trip. Once a date is confirmed thats half the boat trip sorted.

Any date is going to conflict with someones schedule so, I agree, a vote would be a good idea.

I think we should ask all 420 attendees direct by sending them a pm.
in a poll everyone can vote, not only the attendees! -that would be not very informative for us.
then we also know the number of people that are really interested in the boat trip as we have to make a reservation.

A public vote could work IF the person also had to state as a post of there choice?. As I agree a vote itself may be open to abuse by non antendee's.

The focus of the boat tour has shifted to the date debate...
...and away from the actual boat/boats that we will use.
At this point we are a group of about 16-19 (date dependent and everyone shows), that's at least three of the Boaty boats, if that is the venue we opt for. I have e-mailed Boaty.nl and it is possible to rent more than the three boats offered on the web site.
Are we decided on this company or is this still open?

I think boaty is a great choice. as a group (5 people/boat) it's 'cheap' and we can do our own route. we can smoke, eat and drink on the boats. and with a bit sence it's save. we will have an armada of boaties what will be even more fun imo. the crews could rotate at halftime so a talk with each attendee is possible and more relaxed as on a big boat.
as I normaly travel solo or in pairs boaty will be more expesive and no real option on other trips. a trip with a larger boat can be joined even as a solo traveler at anytime.
the only real option would be St. Nic imo. but they do shorter trips and without stops.

When I e-mailed Boaty they suggested that I book the three boats on-line and they will hold at least two more for me, at no charge, until I settle on a number. If we are putting five in each boat, we need three-four boat at this point....if the date is the 21st we have sixteen members (and their gustes) who said they will attend. There is nothing else planned for the 21st, so far. Of the fourteen members that responded all but one of us, I believe, are there on the 19th, but the 19th is getting to be a pretty full day.
Are there any other comments or suggestions as to the boat/company that we should employ? Anyone?...
I posted this and then took another look at the schedule and I see that the afternoon on the 19th. is free.
