Then don't do any of the driving and don't stand up in the boat?. Sounds like the makings of a leisurely cruise to me, plus you'll not swallow any of the water....it's so frikkin mingin you'll bounce off the surface. Honestly mate, the canals in a small boat is absolutely the best way to see them......if it's sunny. 8)

Sorry to read that you want to be counted out Cisco. I think you will be missing a great tour. I'll remove you from the 'crew' list.
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

We went on Captain Ohm's boat last year (with Bleak, who took lots of photos that he might have posted). I can confirm that it's a brilliant way to see Amsterdam, even very familiar views look completely different from that perspective. Bigger boats look different from that perspective too so I was glad Ohm was in control when we crossed the Amstel.

We always have brilliant weather for 4-20 8) . Some really cool people turn up and karma it :D . Guaranteed :!: . No problem

Really though, every year it's been brilliant.

 I actually have a driving license to drive powerboat and sailboat .. it is a legal requirement in Denmark, if you should be allowed to sail a boat over a certain size  ... so that one boat should be in safe hands

By the looks of those pics we aught to get some half decent panaramic pics from that low down on the water. The bonus of the metal boats is no burn marks if we have to hide our joints on the ground if we see the local police or something lol.
