Boat Tour Date Voting

As you can see, the 21st. is pulling ahead in the vote and, by my rough count, we have about 14 people for that date. That's 3 boats, so far, if we go will those self piloted ones.

kongo is also with me this time ... to keep him from space cake, will probably require a very large baseball bat
but would like to try PARADOX's space cake .. sounds like there's a serious kick in them

if the date is fixed now we also have to fix the starting time!
I would prefer a start between 11am and 2pm.
if we do the boaty thing, we can meet in the city, go together by tram to albert cuyp and then do a 15min walk to Okura Hotel.

As to time, 1:00 or 2:00pm would be my vote.
That said, I think we should get settled on a couple of other things first. The actual boat/boats we intend to use and the date are still to be decided...

I read this quote in a post by Lemming in the 420 Gathering thread:-

"I wonder whether we should organise the more adventurous crawls out of the centre on dates away from the 20th, such as the 17th, 18th and 22nd, and leave the dates close to the 20th for judging visits to the more popular shops. That way everyone can take part in the voting and those with more time can explore the outer reaches."

So, with that in mind, the date for the boat tour is to be April 21st. If we set the time at 1300 (1:00 pm) and go for the three hours, we shall be back in lots of time for any activities planned for the late afternoon....even if we run over the three hours we still have time to attend T&T's and do a "Meat Meet", if so desired.

We seem to be in agreement on the rental company point also. Boaty.nl is the one and I shall e-mail them for further information and bookings. We can book three boats for April 21st @ 1300 hrs. (1:00 pm) for three hours @ 267 euro. At the present time we have fifteen 'crew' so, that's 17.8 euro per crew member. This should be affordable for everyone.

Think there was or now is a planned second trip for those adding themselfs recently or at the last minute to cope with the demand?. Things will have to wait for Trad to reply as I think he said he's in Dam and spoke to HB the other day about the arrangements?.
