Coffeeshop 36 always plays techno/trance tunes. And the sofa seats overlooking the channel on Damrak are very nice.

CS36 is trance / house all day every day. I love sitting in there. The weed has been disappointing the last 2 times i have been in, but was always good before that. But the staff are always friendly, so just buy a few drinks and you can bring your own weed in from elsewhere if you want.

The prix dami used to and some people feel its too loud. I never bothered me though.

BABA's was my favourite but last time I was there didn't like the tunes so left, also was very loud for a small place. Found it a bit over bearing when all you want to do is chill nicely. Good fun watching the world go by from their windows. Hopefully going over in September so will try it again, for memories sake.
