Trip #3 is coming up, and one of the things I've been looking forward to is making the trek out to Kashmir Lounge, sitting at the bar, ordering some cool drinks, emptying our pockets and torching up to some good tunes. Looks like a wonderful place to do just that. However, I just looked at the review in the reviews section, and a couple of the posts made it seem as if you had to smoke in a designated room. We don't smoke tobacco, so if that what the room is for, we should be OK. If not...well, that's a long way to go to sit in a designated room, you know?
Can anyone please shed light on the smoking situation in Kashmir Lounge?
Many thanks...
Question about the Kashmir Lounge

Re: Question about the Kashmir Lounge
I live near the Kashmir..
On one side of the road its the small coffeeshop. This sell cannabis and non-achoholic drinks. There is a small glassed off area at the back of the shop for smoking tobacco.. The big Kashmir opposite, sells alcohol, but also allows weed smoking.. There is a screened off area in here too.. Again for tobacco smoking..
How strictly the non-smoking of tobacco in the main area's is enforced is open to debate

Re: Question about the Kashmir Lounge
Last time I was in there, there was no problem smoking Joints with Tobacco in the main area of the coffeeshop. Rolled up openly in front of the Bud-tender and not a word was said.
If you want to smoke a cigarette however it is into the glass box

I would much rather be happy than right any time.

Re: Question about the Kashmir Lounge
Yeah, was there last July and the last few posters have it spot on.
You buy over the road (great menu with loads of hash plus really friendly budtender when I was there) and can then buy drinks and enjoy your purchases in the Kashmir Lounge itself. The Turkish hash I bought wasn't that great, but the honest tender as good as warned me it wouldn't be... and the other types I sampled were top notch (Super Polm and Temple Ball, from memory)
Smoking in the glass booth at the front of the shop, though not sure everyone was totally inside the booth with their joints...
Pity I only just l made it before closing though, seemed like one of the best places around. Subdued and eastern style deco, friendly staff.
Will go back.
