me and 4 mates are heading to amsterdam for the weekend, none of us have ever been before. We are staying in hotel 83. we would like to visit a few cafes and pubs (ive heard there is a place to play pool which we would all like) and help would be super. we are going by plane so should we go to a cafe around the airport first or just head into town? thanks

You're going to have a blast on your first trip....I sure as hell did...  8)
Get on the train at the airport asap...look at the map and you'll see loads of coffeeshops right outside the Amsterdam station. I would head for Voyagers myself...Enjoy.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

You have been posted on the February Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=56459

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.
