Paranoia (No Thanks)

only paranoia i get is when theres a cop on my street and i'm watching them while i toke.........fuck the law .....sorry peeps but i'm sick and tired of the persecution of good hard working people who either for medical or recreational or both smoke the weed.....im on detox and felling a bit militant

I get paranoid whenever the helicopters fly above my house, wouldn't be so bad apart from the fact we're on a helicopter flight path.

Me too but mainly due to the high crime rate in my area. I hope ADF works

Haha I have a mate who sticks his tongue out whilst dancing, he doesn't realise it! It's a huge tongue, longest you've seen by far
dunno how well this is known outside of chicago, but if you ever watch some old videos of the bulls, you can notice that Michael Jordan (the greatest American athlete ever) was incapable of jumping without his tongue out. after a while the NBA made him wear a mouth guard so he couldnt stick it out, they were afraid someone would bump him and he'd bite it off.

Really that's cool blood on the basketball court and half a tongue would be troublesome, I don't blame them for mouth guarding Jordan.

Haha the only time I usually get paranoid is when I hear police sirens but then again I love a good skitz haha lets you know your stoned

I was with my mate and we walked past a dog and it barked at us so I mentioned that it was a police dog (it really wasnt) and everytime I looked at him he seemed to be looking back all the time haha skitz'd to fuck

my old roommate got high on the southside and took the train home. fucked out of his brain (only smokes on occasion) he sat down and tried to look like a normal member of society. then the TSA people got on with a bomb sniffing dog as they often do and sat across from him. facing him. my friend had no idea it wasnt a drug dog and thought they were gonna bust him the entire ride freakin out.

its funny now. (it was funny then, just not for him)

lol Great story Clayman. That would make me paranoid even if I wasn't buzzed! You never know what you might have left in your pockets. Just like you never know what the dag is trained to sniff out. That's what's so great about A'Dam. You don't fear the cops are going to be busting you everytime you see one.

Am rather curious as to what this trip will be like as my seizure meds are different this trip, will have to ease into things slowly.

Im an old fart who takes 2 seizure meds and 2 very powerful opiates, and I have found they take away a lot of the punch of strong weed. Having said that, we know how seizure meds can be problematic, especially when in another country. I would say dont be worried, just be aware of actual (not imagined) physical issues. Of course you know by now that hives, rashes and anaphylaxis are big seizure med red flags. Just be observant dude, and you'll have a great time.

I have only had paranoia less than a dozen times in over 30 years, and sometimes it was intense and horrible. I think sometimes, especially the old brick weed had pesticides and other bad shit (PCP) mixed in. Sometimes a pre-smoke mental state can lead you into a paranoid space.

At age 45, I don't give a flyin', flippin fuck who notices if im high anymore. I cant drive, so i dont have that worry. I also adopted the "hide in plain sight" law of avoiding entanglements. Always act like you always act and no one really has the time or inclination to stop you and check you for highness. The paranoia I no longer have, but never found an answer for is the paranoia that comes with severe time/space distortion. I am certainly glad Ive not experienced that in over 20 years.

I used to always get paranoid spells after a heavy smoke but after a while of reasoning with myself I snapped out of it. When I was younger during these spells I would do stupid stuff like taking my stash outside and hiding it in a bush

my 'stash' was usually around an 8th and I was completely unknown to the cops - after a while I would have to go back out and get it as I realised how dumb I was.

Not so bad these days as everyone I know is pretty accustomed to seeing me wrecked and I can convince myself I'm ok and I rarely smoke up anywhere but in houses. Always helps to have someone even more wrecked with you then you can say at least I'm not that hammered

I never get paranoid, weed increases my perception and makes me see or notice things I would never do before. Like everyone looking at and plotting to harm me. The satellites in the sky that are tracking my movement, and my credit cards which the CIA has tagged, the invisible camera's that follow me, the chip implanted into my body by aliens who watch from the sun or moon. So yeah, weed only increases my awareness. Although I have once had a paranoid thought, when I thought that maybe I was being Paranoid, but I quickly thought rationally and blocked that thought out. Infact it then occured to me that the paranoid thought telling me I was being paranoid was really government mind control to prevent me seeing the truth.

Nicely said extremepain. I've been giving this a trial run for a while, and so far so good. If I'm really baked, eye drops help to disguise the red eye. An old mate used to go to his job interviews stoned, so that when he started work they would think that he's always like.

extremepain; hell you're not old, I've got almost 20 years on you.

I always ease into my first day in the 'Dam, hell. I'm not there to prove how much I can smoke to the younger folks, just to have a good time.
Have actualy never had a physical reaction to meds. rash, hives etc., so have been lucky in that respect.
Only problem I have with my meds is that I build up a tolerance to them rather quilckly and they have to find something else, which is why they are considering surgery at my age.

Paranoia? Yeah - love it man!

I dont normally get paranoia when I blaze it down... But Sometimes - on a effin good Sativa Haze - it does happen. I think I must be the only person who dont have a problem with it!

I like the feeling which paranoia induces because it makes me feel like I'm acting in a blockbuster movie - something like War of the Worlds (i would be the Tom Cruise character, runnin about duckin and diving) lol

Lampshade...I have long been on the Clear Eyes bandwagon. It seems to be the best brand for really clearing the eyes. When I could still drive, I went so far as to go in stoned to get my pic taken for my license so that if I got pulled over, the cop would see my license pic, and be like..."oh..on with you then."

When I last worked for a company besides my own, I used the clear eyes method to go in stoned in the morning, smoke at lunch, and the getting high on the drive home reward...but hey, a professional artist should be esoteric.

Twitch...some days I feel 105, but I am sure I'm not alone in that. I am really glad you've not had bad reactions to seizure meds. The first they tried on me was depakote, which gave me thick hives on my elbows and knees, which left nasty arthritis in their wake, but at least my throat didnt swell. Next we tried dilantin, which wads much the same, now I take Lamictal and Tranxene, and they work well together, though I came just 2 weeks short of being able to drive again (6 months without a seizure in my state)..of course at 5 1/2 weeks I launch into an absence seizure, and babble about man-made planets for 10 minutes....grrrr I'll never drive again.

Tweedle, my neighbor's dog always tells me to put my foil helmet on, and ever since then, the CIA guy listening in on my fillings. As long as we keep our new nikes ready and wait for the next comet, we should be fine.
