Hi All,

I just want to introduce myself to the group. My names Athena and I'm from the bay area(usa). I joined this group because I will be going to Amsterdam this summer and want to understand your coffee shops better. I know your laws changed back in 1997 and that has made a lot of changes to your coffee shops. So I joined this group to get info from the locals to help plan my trip.

This forum is pretty international although predominantly yanks and brits I think and of course some Dutch and Amsterdam residents, all in love with the 'Dam and all eager to help you have the trip of your life, so read, ask and please chip in when you fancy.
What a long strange trip it is.
