To the chap in London I would say that you will always be welcomed in Amsterdam bearing any of the following:

The Daddy sized Marmite Jar
Whittards Earl Grey Tea
Twiglets
Sultana Bran
Heinz Beans with those little sausages in them
Heinz Spaghetti

I guess at least the tea suggests something of an educated palette...

Oh and not forgetting The Sunday Times or Saturdays Guardian with all the sections at a cost that doesn't leave one feeling anally violated.

  see thats what you get when you cross an eskimo with a frenchman
don't be a hater -- just because we've managed to advance our taste buds past raw potatoes and overcooked rawhide.

you enjoy your sauce flavor... I'll enjoy the natural flavors of a finely cooked steak

@ Hunter, if we bring any of them good can i get full weight deals?

There is an Asian corner shop just down the road from me. I will see if he has any plans to visit the Dam. He has also been known to stick a broom up his ass and sweep the floor whilst serving customers. You have to admire a multi-tasker!

Dude, was in Alber Heijn today, the one behind the Palace on Dam Square. 2.11 € for a bottle of HP.
