Anyway, Im tossing a line out to see what people think would be a good time to go, what sort of meet and greets may be going on, and even possibly, if anyone is looking to room or apartment share to save cash, Im no weirdo...many here have met and can vouch for me. Yes Im 47, but Ill go hit for hit w/anyone, I dont do drama and I like to think Im cool to chill with. Roomshare is the least important of my hopes, but It would be cool to have a chill group saving money for the good stuff, but I have a few solo places Ive found as well.
For the guy who said he was paying 300 Euro a night for a hotel must be staying in a nicer hotel than Id pay for. There are clean, reasonably priced places. I need to be as close to the station as possible, and Ive found nice places for almost half that. I only need a hotel for sleeping and showering, and I dont go to the Dam to sit in a hotel room, I go for the Art, the Canals, the People, the FREEDOM, and of course the Goodies of all kinds. By the time I reach the hotel at night, Im not checking the top shelf for dust. No bedbugs or weird shit, and Im fine.
Anyway, glad to be back, and cannot wait to be back in the Dam.
