I'm glad this thread has been brought up! I wasn't a member when it was first posted. Ive enjoyed reading it immensely whilst smoking my last crumbs and making a few last notes for my first propper trip to the dam this weekend

I'm not gonna flame you, I had never read this before, but I'm really pleased that I just did.
Without doubt, one of the very best reports ever written here, IMO.

yea im happy for whoever brought it back to life because i could not stop reading it yesterday/last night. even while at work! hahah im going for my first time here in a couple months so it was good to read someones first time as well. an i really felt like i was there!! amazing!!
