I know I am probably going to get flamed for bringing alive such an old log. But this is by far the best written and most enjoyable to read Log I have had the pleasure to read thus far.

I'm glad this thread has been brought up! I wasn't a member when it was first posted. Ive enjoyed reading it immensely whilst smoking my last crumbs and making a few last notes for my first propper trip to the dam this weekend :D

Without doubt, one of the very best reports ever written here, IMO.

yea im happy for whoever brought it back to life because i could not stop reading it yesterday/last night. even while at work! hahah im going for my first time here in a couple months so it was good to read someones first time as well. an i really felt like i was there!! amazing!!
