Apr/2011 i'll take my cousins to DAM. It's my 7th time in this great city! We have a very nice travel plan including a car trip to see the moulins in Kinderdijk and the tulips.

So, we are 7 guys and I was thinking about roomy coffeeshops to take them besides Dampkring and Greenhouse (Haarlemmerstraat). Any idea?

thanks

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the April Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=58816

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Prix D'Ami has three floors, the second would seem a good place for your get together.

Enjoy

Basjoes has plenty of seating for a large group if theres still any room left after the ACD possee take over and its not too far to walk from Haarlemmerstraat.

Siberie is right on your doorstep. have a look at their webcam when its back online.

Route 99 opposite Prix D'ami has a large smoking area and the table at the back should accomodate you if its free. Love the UV lighting and artwork here when nicely buzzing. Not forgetting De Kuil/420 is just around the corner.

Thank you guys for the answers... I definitely will try those c.shops... especialy the Rookies... I remenbered a story from there, with my MUM (yes, I took my mother to smoke for her very first time in the Rookies cs, in Amsterdam!)... After some puffs, she left the cs saying "I can see everything layered...." kkkkkkk it was so nice... tx AzLaker.

I hope I can meet you ACD followers in April... Maybe its gonna be dificult to communicate, as I'm not fluent in english (google is helping me write this down), but ganja will help for sure.

greetings

And if that fails there is always paper, pen and pictures  I remember one holiday in Turkey where we spent hours slowly getting mullered at the hotel bar with two german couples who spoke little English, a Scottish couple who spoke no German or English  (we spoke no German and the broad Scot accent was difficult to understand most of the time), drawing and writing our way through many a conversation.

Must have been comical to watch

welcome to the forum

i just want to double-check that all 7 of you have read the document How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks

btw the space cake at basjoe is gentle, but lovely ... the space cake at paradox is a little stronger and very nice ... both are worth a try ... voyagers have space muffins which are a nice treat too, they have both vanilla and chocolate flavours

about the bikes, it is not my first time in DAM, neither it is my cousins first time (most of them - there is only one "virgin"), so we are aware. tx u anyway.

guys i'm taking some english lesons before my trip.. so I think it will be fine (and I still can use paper/pen like you said hulldj.

about the space cakes, maybe I'll try both of them (basjoe and paradox) tx.

anyone to teach me how to roll a terminator joint??
