Chili ed wrote:My favorite 3 are Paradox, Bluebird, and Stix (now Solo). These are the places I can really relax. I like Paradox for the great toasties, excellent herb prices, and Ludo the owner. Bluebird was one of the first shops I visited many years ago. I have been going there ever since. The "Blue Cheese" is really nice and I like the fact that they have Volcanos now. Stix now Solo is in a great part of town and has a really friendly staff. I always find myself there when I'm near Nieumarkt.

Paradox is definitely a cool little place. Love the fact that the you can try so many different things without breaking the bank. Super low-key location and a laid back atmosphere with friendly budtenders.

... and each chair and table in paradox features original artwork and each piece is different ... i especially love the large table in the back on the left, it has wonderful magical artwork sprawling all over it

420, Paradox and Club Media.. all friendly laid back places with good selections...could have equally been Voyagers, Basjoes, Bettys, Katsu, Bagheera etc etc!

Surprised at the lack of votes for Picasso.. This shop is well worth the visit, excellent northern lights, good coffee and friendly atmosphere
Can't wait to get back in there in 4 weeks time :D
If carlsburg made weed it would be northern lights 5x

1. Tweede Kamer
2. Grey Area
3. Abraxas

Was on Amsterdam only once the week of Queensday 2009, Abraxas was close to hotel, Grey Area had the best weed of the 3, but TK was the best place to chill and had GREAT hash.

1e Hulp/Hill Street Blues for the atmosphere, Dampkring/Grey Area for the weed. They are four I know, but still...Couldn't pick the one which wouldn't make it to my top 3!
