My alltime favorite even though it is not even a shadow of its former self is Sativa in Haarlem. It had the best budtender Ferrie, really hot women working the snack bar in the back and great rooms above. Number 2 is Birdy in Haarlem they have a huge ass mastiff named Capo(sp?). Number 3 Pablo Picasso in Adam on every trip but my first it has been my first stop after I leave the airport.

I hear that, I loved the Sativa, last time I went to walk in and they had the turnstyle and vending machine I just walked away disgusted.

The whole WW experience was a bit depressing for me as I had looked at their (admittedly very out of date) website and was expecting a little more. In hindsight, my favourite was the Indica shop infront of De Adriaan; the guy and girl working the bar were diamonds, couple this to some very potent White Widow, it earns a spot in my 3 favourite shops. Sativa is still a good shop despite the turnstile. I can just about understand this in Amsterdam, but not Haarlem. Sinsemilla shop was OK, but not spectacular. The lavender haze from there, was however absolutely outstanding, it just smelled perfect and hit the spot for my aching overweight body at the end of long walks around 'Dam. That weed alone made up for the overpriced "hot chocolate" crap from the drinks machine and was worth the walk from my hotel.

My another one on my list would have to be 420. The budtender took the time to explain how to use the volcano, what temperature it should be set to, how fine the weed should be grinded and also how to fashion my own bags for it, which was helpful to my trip and also dispelled some underlying worries about buying one. Also the diesel was good, and the lady at the drinks bar was funny after me and my smoking buddy were both so stoned we forgot if we paid for our drinks and drugs.

Last but not least, High Times in Haarlem. This became my base shop during the trip because of it's closeness to my hotel. The staff there were great, not intrusive or pushy, but very welcoming, their prerolled joints were quite good and very well priced (E2.50 for a good Shiva joint), cheapish drinks coupled to decent music and free (fast) internet use on a proper computer for customers and helpful directions makes this shop stand out as my overall favourite. I wont be staying in Haarlem on my next trip, but I will be visiting the town, and the coffeeshops again.

Not a problem :) I'm gonna do a proper trip report now, although my memory has hazed a little
