Takin' in the Great (?) Outdoors
Re: Takin' in the Great (?) Outdoors
08-420: Any Day, what a fine shop. They've got the Basque Collection, great brick weed in the form of Durban Poison and Jamaican, and intriguing indoor varieties that you don't see everywhere else. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed it.

strain: Purple Poison
cs: Chapiteau

odor: earthy garlic
Purple Poison could just as well be called Black Crayola. It looks like bits of black crayon attached to grape stem.
It's pleasantly peppery on the inhale. It comes on quickly with a pulsing stone. The stone dissipates soon thereafter, and you're left with a transparent high. I imagine the Purple Poison experience would have been improved by greater tokage.

Re: Takin' in the Great (?) Outdoors
I really love this report...especially the picture juxtaposition. I wouldnt get to hung up on the bubblegum though, that feeling was probably very time/place specific. But the great thing is there is always something to replace it.

ballard: What you just said couldn"t have been said better. It's the essence of this coffeeshop thing.

Love this travelouge, most interesting in ages here!
Hope you carry on...

Müller: I'm glad you're enjoying it. Lately I've been going back and editing my posts so that I sound less like a verbose twat. Hopefully the thread will be less wordy moving on.
Re: Takin' in the Great (?) Outdoors
strain: Durban Poison
cs: Homegrown Fantasy
€: 6/gr
odor: shoe polish, in the best sense
This Durban Poison is no brick weed import, people. It is outdoor Nederweit. Power Plant, Nimbin, Durban Poison, Purple Power – Homegrown Fantasy is your source in the Centrum for domestic outdoor smoke.
For me, the Durban Poison comes on with the “I'm not high yet, I think. How long have I been standing here thinking about what I'm going to do next?” When the train arrives at the station, it delivers a body hum and a solid dose of edginess.
The tension soon settles into a stone. I have no inclination to leave my room for the wet darkness outside. My body says, “Sit.” I need to eat. My thoughts are interrupted by a jarring CLANG every minute or so. I feel encased in my own head.
HGF's Durban is not a South African sativa. It is a homebody indica. I'd probably feel more enthusiastic about this one were it not so similar to what I often run into back home, a spiky stone that fades into a stupor. To me, the stupor is a bit of a downer.

Marco: How is the Black Widow at Chapiteau? The Neville's Haze?
Cisco: Thanks ... Yeah, I heard about the scrolling badness that plagued my last thread. Sorry about that. Apparently long URLs I included in some of the posts caused the problem.

I used to rave about their BW, but its not been there for a long time. The NH was good, not sure if its still there.quiky wrote:Marco: How is the Black Widow at Chapiteau? The Neville's Haze?
