Yeah man PaKoH is the shit there's a good few more pieces of his I would like but I'm cutting back on buying other artists glass for a bit and spending the money on the raw materials to melt glass

Anyway I dunno how peeps feel about sharing non functional glass ? Marbles , dishes , dabbers , millefiori , murrine , pendants and such , or should it be a seperate thread ?

Here's a murrine pendant by Adam Engleson featuring one of his paisley series of murrine

Opinions please , is this thread for functional only ?

Cheers hope you've all had a good weekend

Okay Geoff, we don't have these in Aussie land. Is it a bubbler and is it like a little bong?

That's what I think it is. :?

I would just like a Sovereignty peyote pillar and a nice piece by Leisure/Luke Wilson to finish the collection. 8)

Yup, that's exactly what it is. I've been into the bubblers lately, they work great. I think my next purchase will be a bubbler with a removable downstem for easy cleaning.

Ok Cisco, I'll be your Huckleberry... ;)
I'm only interested in things that are functional, which opens up an entirely different conversation... ;)
If I want something artsy fartsy to look at, I'll go find some pretty rocks, polish them up nicely, and put them on display.
I'll save hundreds if not thousands of $$$$ because it's FREE.
Nature's art can't be beat at any price, no matter how hard we may try.
So, let's all pretend really hard that we really care about non functional glass... Show us yer pics... :)
...
Note: I've recently ordered a FUNCTIONAL piece from Merlin, a circ oil rig. Pic to follow... :)

I pretend to NOT be interested in non-functional glass art to prevent myself getting an expensive addiction. If money was no object, I'd stop pretending.

Cool DI Cisco, them things are tiny must of been hard to work, but looks quality, do you have a PaKoH x Toro Collab?

Not really into non functioning glass myself, there are some cool pendants, but jewellery ain't my thing.

Awesome thanks for the late replies peeps lol , I appreciate non functional may not be for everyone that's why I asked rather than just mercifully filling up the thread , I may start another thread but tbh probably not as there doesn't seem to be much interest , oh well I'm quite happy to admire my extensive collection , or post on IG

Unfortunately I don't have a Toro , Pakoh collab just the slide for my Toro OG Macro

Thanks Slip n Sal

I went into the "glass museum" quite stoned, and it turned out just to be an art gallery display of non functional glass for sale. When I started seeing price tags in the range of 3,500 euro, I got a bit wigged out and had to leave for fear of taking a wrong step and knocking one of those beautiful, pointless pieces to the ground.
"Hey you gonna pay for that?" Fuck no.... Ruuuuuun!

Cisco if you're getting into the glass craft as it appeared from your original post then I'm very interested, I love things, anything made from the natural world and you cant get closer to nature than sand and fire I reckon.

Rock on kid :D .
What a long strange trip it is.
