Late Night Drinking

Im looking for somewhere to go for a drink, a little dance if need be but not clubbing. we are coming for 420 and Mrs Dr D wants something like a bar with up-to date music, ETC. obviously we hit nes and i know about smoker friendly places on worm and places like rick's and suzzie's but want somewhere where we can chill and listening and drink and smoke

Any suggestions welcome folks

Not fussed really Balou anything will be considered. There are 3 couples so everyone likes a bit of everything.

Are there any late night bars that have music and let you smoke that are not nightclubs?. Always wandered that myself as often wanted to do the same only to find myself back at the hotel by just after 1am as the regular bars seem to close by then andd have no option it seems.

Guess it depends on whats ment by late night. But dont all the bars close by 1am anyway?.

The club next to the Bulldog c/s in Leidsplein Square allows smoking inside, free entry to. There are 2 smoking rooms in the back, but they do not mind you skining up and smoking at the tables near the dance floor. The music is modern, not trance etc though. Drinks are normal touristry prices at 5 euros a pint, but not bad considering free entry. Was in there a few weeks ago so can confirm you can still smoke away inside. Stays open until 3ish I think at the weekends, but not sure. As a solo traveller, one of my favourite spots to get stoned, people watch, and make new friends. The girls behind the bar are cute as well.

By late i mean 1 - 2 am ish. if it were just me i would be sitting in nes with a big vapo bag drinking away my grolsch, but what the lady wants.....the lady maybe gets

that looks very much the place indeed. free cocktails for ladies on sunday's and mondays and 1 euro beers on wednesday will def check it out.

has anyone seen any up the other end of town towards centraal as im staying near harlemstraat?

I would say not too many of the smoker-friendly bars are either a) open that late or b) really going to have music/DJs. Your best bet is to hit someplace with a smoking room.

Or, go out to Kashmir in the west, a full bar + DJ + coffeeshop. Closes 1AM on weekdays, 3AM on weekends

Not quite Dave J, that place is round the corner in Korte Leidsedwarstraat. Have breezed by many times, but it has always been heaving so ended up in the place mentioned. The one I am refering to is next door to Bulldog c/s (looking at the c/s its on the left) Walk or get tram 1, 2, or 5 to Leidsplein and if you can't find the Bulldog or the club next to it, then you must be on some well good shit Can't find it on the net (OK I'm stoned), must be an open secret.

And Dr Diesel, it did cross my mind about mentioning the cute girls when I typed the post - considering you are with your wife - but thought I would leave that in for pervs everywhere.

@ marco i have been to kashmir a few times on previous trips, we enjoyed it but it was a bit of a trek walking back at 3.30 am pissed and stoned and in wonderland
