Below is the image of how it's setup, and the best part is that it costs nothing! Everything is already around your house!
1) Set up like the image below, and light your gear like a candle.
2) A flame should catch on the hash, once there is a flame burning from it put your drinking glass over it so its air tight seal with the wood
3) This will quickly burn all the oxygen in the glass, and your gear will smoke vigorously.
4) Let your gear smolder for a bit until you think it has all burned up into smoke
5) Keeping the glass tight against the wood bring the whole thing up to your lips
6) Ever so slightly tilt one side back so you can get your lips next to it
7) Pull a sweet hit!
This is not the most convenient method to smoke but you lose almost no smoke like you would in a bowl or bong piece. Due to this you can really burn much smaller pieces, but still get a great hit. This isn't a perfect method though. Known issues are depending on your gear it might get soft and melt running down the pin before it all turns to smoke. I find smaller pieces help with this though. You could also put wax paper or something to catch anything that will melt at the base of your pin to catch any run off. In my mind though this is less than what would stick to any glass piece, and I don't think it will happen with very sticky gear.
