Hello all, I just found this site while researching for my trip next month. I will be there 4/17-4/21. With so little time I want to seek out the best and/or tastiest the Dam has to offer. This site seems like the place where I can get the most info for what I'm looking for. My wife and I would like to see as much of Amsterdam as we can in our short time. I'm sure she will bitch about the time I spend searching for tasty treats. hahaha. Anyways love the site and can't wait for our trip.

Positive vibes for Japan,

Wrap

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the April Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=59626

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

You have chosen a hot time in Amsterdam for this and several other forums.
4:20 at 420 Cafe on 4/20
There are all kinds of activities planned and people to attend them.
I am having a Wake & Bake Toke & Talk on the 19th at 10:00am at Voyagers.

Enjoy

Thanks for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to my trip and this should be my most memorable 4/20-4:20 ever. WINNING. Yes I am taking my talents to Amsterdam from South Beach, but no worries I'm a Bulls fan and we owned the Heat this year.

welcome aboard mate.. theres gonna be alot of us out there for 420 festivities so roll up your sleeves and Please join in. your wfe will most probably bitch abit, but its better to be with her i guess ( there are a few women ACDer's which she might get on with). if shes too much the old point and look at that technique then run the opposite direction.. worth going to the de pijp area great coffeeshops - albert cuyp market - Sarphatipark and more coffeeshops again.. odds on ill see you out there at some point..

So I've been looking around the site and is it fair to say that the following CS are the ones I should hit?

De Kuil
Dampkring
Bluebird
Basjoe
GREY AREA
Amnesia
Barney's for the 2010 cup winner even know its a little expensive.

This would be my 1st trip to the Dam and since its a holiday and all I want it to be the best.

well it would be hard to argue with that list as starters ... good choices

at de kuil i like best the super silver haze now called 420 haze - the genetics are skunk and northern lights and haze

at basjoe i like best the amnesia haze, a sister to the ssh with the same genetics

but just about anything from any of the shops on your list would be fine too

You will be in Holland at Tulip time, take a walk down the flower market an buy a big bundle of tulips, take them back to your hotel and enjoy the color. Take time to discover the "Albert culp"(sp) market, also great coffee shops in the area. Just look at the architecture, canals , bridges, lamp posts, there is art everywhere, as you walk from coffee shop to coffee shop. Sanementereng is a coffee shop/ antique shop. Enjoy your trip, we will be in the dam at the same time as you.
