I don't know how one would go down to that part of town, and not go to the market, the colors, smells, people watching, and food are well fun for lack of better words. I however will be back in the land of prohibition by the 23. Have fun, I will be doing my version of the crawl the week before.

The albert culp is a great experience. We ate at some great restaurant there too. I think was Indian but I cant remember the name. I have not decided how to divide my time yet. I know there are alot of people coming in at different times that I definately want to see. Thats a priority for me. For the most part though, I am a follower, so look for me tagging along on somethings lol.

We'll be going back to prohibition that day too. I intend to get to Katsu for Hestia and DrDiesel's T & T on the 19th, though, so a visit to the market and/or Sarphatipark is a distinct possibility.
I love the Albert Cuyp Market and the coffeeshops around it. That's why I made this map and page years ago:

Is the market there open every day?. As a few of us are known to be going late morning on the 19th would like a little look round that market myself. Dunno what the fuck I could buy to take home seeing as I'm traveling hand luggage only, But all the same would love a look round if it's open on a tuesday?.
Slightly ot, wander why the Ajax ground tour never gets a mention as thats different and a good trip when a joint is smoked before going in

Neaver been on a stadium tour, but i've been to the Amsterdam tournement to watch a couple of games, and the stadium is amazing, a great experience all round, even getting to and from the ground was so much easier than Wembely or Anfield

, but would never match the Anfield atmosphere

Reminds me 2 of us were fucked trying to find the entrance to the Ajax ground for the tour 1 trip. The train was a doddle but we were propper fuckin wrecked that afternoon. Also on the tour we went on we got to go in the royal suite. Very nice, private bar, heated balcony, staff on duty there in case of an unexpected visit even outside of a game.
Would also like to do the market with you guys. But sadly I'll also be back home by then so will only be there in spirit.

I'm sure we can fit a little mooch around the market during the crawl on 19th Dave, im sure Mrs Dr D has already decided she wants to see some nice tulips

so we could maybe have a half-time munch and mooch.
