I think it more of a blessing of sorts than anything about which to be concerned. For me the strong link from aromas to memories is quite common so it only seems logical that the path would work in the other direction as well. Were I you, I'd see if I couldn't develop this a bit more and please let us know when the sensation of the buzz returns with the aroma:)
