hey there. I am new to the blog and I wanted to reach out, say hello and ask if someone could steer me to the very best printable map of the amsterdam coffeeshop scene.
I have seen the one on this site and it lacks some of the detail as well as some shops (greenplace) I was hoping for. I have also seen Trance's map and it is rocks but I cannot figure any way of printing it.
If anyone has a link or wants to email me a copy of decent and recent coffeeshop map, I would be grateful.
Peace!
Jon

Welcome to ACD. Unfortunately I don't think what you're looking for exist. My suggestion would be to find a map you like and write in your coffeeshops, that what I used to do. Trance's' map is flash based and therefore is not printable.

Hi, I used Trance's map. It's a little bit of a ballache to get printed but its possible by using your 'print screen' button on your keyboard and pasting it into a program like photoshop or even MS Paint and printing it from there. you won't get the full map onto 1 sheet though, its just too big. I just used the Centrum area which was enough for me.drkstar wrote: I have also seen Trance's map and it is rocks but I cannot figure any way of printing it.

Could also use google maps and print that out (would have to use a screen capture program I think) an effective blank and then locate and write your own selection of coffeeshops on that using other available maps as source material like linked to above.
From what i've seen there is not a single map out there that has everything on map wise. the ACD map is great and my choice as a main map, but lacking a number of coffeeshops. Other maps have everything but is not easily printable or suit printing at all.

if anyone knows of a detailed street map that is free and printable, I think I am going to make one up with the shops I would like to hit.
You guys are the best tho!!

The ACD Map is by far the best map i've come across, not just for coffeeshops but for actually getting round the central area of the city aswell
. I just add the few good shops missed off the map in myself, Greenplace was the 1st one i added in, as is Voyagers
Excuse me while I light my Spliff.....

I reckon the map from this site is excellent. used it just a few weeks ago, planning my whole weekend around it. Ok it's not the clearest, but you can use a standard map to cross reference very easily.
