The best idea is to ask the budtender what the tobacco policy is for the shop. No miss understanding that way. Most will allow it.
The substitutes taste foul...in my opinion.
Enjoy.
If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

honestly everywhere I went no one gave a fuck! the budtenders were rolling up spliffs with tobaccy and hash in most of the cs's I went in. But as Trad said it can never hurt to be courteous and ask:

I went in February and every place I went I smoked using tobacco in my joints. No-one seems to mind as long as you don't make it obvious, eg don't leave fag packets lying on tables in full view. The only time I saw someone told that they couldn't smoke was someone who lit up a normal cigarette in a coffeeshop. The waitress said to them they would have to smoke cigs outside but joints with tobacco could be smoked inside. (why anyone would want to smoke cigs in a coffeeshop is beyond me!)

When I arrived last October my two friends who had been many times decided to tell me that you couldn't mix tobacco in joints, because this is what they believed to be the situation at the time. When we arrived in the first Coffeeshop I asked the tender could I mix both and he looked at me as to say "I don't really care what you do with it".

Good to know, im out in may and was looking to use as less backi as possible unless smoking hash saying that i think some bongs and pipes are in order this time around. It seems to me that most c.s are not to bothered about the ban or should i say it the lest of their worries though i might be wrong about that.
