Aw we wish you could join us, cattgirl. You made it here last year (good times), next time you come down this way I'll take you and DH there... already know what hestia would say.

Really weird, as I was writing the last post? She called me, I swear she has a sixth sense. See you and DH soon, bright spirit (that's how hestia and I describe ya lol).

Good mornin' all :D today we have company.!! Ig & hubby are coming over for lunch. :D 8)
Well I started early this mornin up at 5 or so to start rolling out my homemade egg noodles by 6, one of the reasons I do this a few hrs before I start to cook the egg noodles is because they have to dry for a bit or they just fall apart during cooking and we don't want that now...do we..yuck! there thats done !! now on to the chicken... I get out my big dutch ovens (big pot) and put in 2 whole fat chickies (10 lbs. or so) with 2 big yellow spanish ongions plus around 2 lbs' of fresh carrotts, chopped kinda rough, some salt and cover with water and....BOIL THE HELL OUT OF IT for about 2 hrs or untill the cooked chicken is faling off the bone . then I take the chicken out to let it cool then I remove the meat and return it to the pot, then turn the heat back on and bring to a rolling boil....now I start to drop in my egg noodles one at a time...if you toss in a hand full at a time they will stick together....so easy does it! one at a time!! It' now 8:00 and the pot of goodness is cooking away on the top of the stove ...the house smell wonderfull :D ,and to finish off about 5 mins. befor serving I will add fresh ground black pepper and dryed parsley . then when serving I sprinkel FRESH chopped parslie (from my garden) over the top.
moor later.......... :D 8)

Honey butter on a breakfast biscuit, hot cup of french pressed coffee, and a joint dipped in honey oil waiting to be fired up. Now that's what I call a good start. :D :D :D

Happy eating...
