Hestia - It's 'Wish you were Here' from Pink Floyd's Wish you Were Here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wish_You_W ... d_album%29

Uncle Ron - I tip my hat to you, what a wonderful suggestion

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
And cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war,
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
He who tries to shine dims his own light

I have it on my iPod but how will that help the crowd? Tech advice time.

Wow!
I might have to break into my secret piggy bank to see if I can make the event.

I'm starting to think this is going to be somewhat of a repeat of last year when I was on a day trip to Amsterdam on Thursday the 15th.
I was out and about, minding my own business, when I met a few stoner chicks at Basjoes (thanks to James for the introduction). As I recall, the group consisted of Hestia, Blue Berry, and Islandgirl. My apologies if I missed someone. After a serious T&T, I decided to return the following Monday to partake in the events. As we all know, those events were somewhat dampened by Eyjafjallajökull (good luck pronouncing that one), the ash spewing volcano in Iceland. Come to think of it, any suggestions to appease the gods or whatever, you know, like a human sacrifice?

(after a long pause for research).....
RT train ticket will cost about E120, doable, although I cringe (slightly) at the thought of 5.5hrs each way on the same day. Smoke out, hop on, tune in, and drop out (of sight) until Amsterdam. 8)

Contemplating......................

Daylight rail travel I'm usually too amped to sleep, so I drive the train.
There is always the option of taking the City Night Line, leaving Stuttgart at 0125 (or 2210 via Karlsruhe) and arriving in Amsterdam at 0855. Only time I enjoy the CNL is when I'm in a cabin, but these are expensive, +E200 w/out toilet, +E300 w/toilet and shower. 5 Star price for (at best) a 1 Star experience. I'll pass thank you very much... :(

Still contemplating..... maybe I'll stay the night at Campground Zeeburg!? A thought to ponder...

Happy 4/20...
