I've seen a series of posts over the years regarding the age thing , and they always get the reaction you did.
If you search , you'll see that.
It wasn't personal.

It's obvious that in your "apology" you are talking about me. I've been on this board a few years now, long enough that people know my style and your accusations are baseless and without merit. I gave my opinion on your situation, exactly as you asked, and you didn't like what I had to say so you responded with insults and threats. Then, in another thread, you changed your story and I pointed out that fact. That is not stalking. I am not "muddling through life" hiding behind anything, nor am I making claims to be any sort of superman...However, you have made many threats of violence! I'm not trying to instigate more, the board and everyone forgives you, thats great, but no one did any of those things you claim above in that little quote of yours that you so generously attached to your "apology".

I know how to read between the lines, and I can see the manipulation employed in your writing, Mr. "high IQ". Some of us might be on, or even above your level, and can see right through it.

So, have fun in Amsterdam, and don't get so wasted you fall in a canal.

OK let me make this as general as i can. I am new on here. I think i am what most people would call a normal run of the mill guy. I am heading off to Amsterdam with my wife for my 50th, and thought how nice it would be to have a smoke in Amsterdam. Looking into it i ended up, as i am sure a lot of people do, at this site.

I have been pleasantly surprised by how helpful, friendly and reaasonable folks have been, and it makes me think a coffeeshop visit with my wife would be a cool and more importantly a safe thing to do. I reckon there will be a lot of people like me, who just want to get a feel for something which isn't in their "normal comfort zone".

Bottom line - talk of fighting, verbal abuse and the like brings down the quality and value of the site and may well lead to people thinking - mmmm, not for me, which in my humble opinion is a real shame. The question of under 18's in coffee shops was asked, replies were given, and the handbags came out. Apologies were given so things should be cool.

I remember reading somewhere about an interview with the great Bob Marley. He was asked " Does smoking ganga lead to anger and violence". His reply ! " When you have a little herb you realise there is nothing to get angry or violent about!". This is a top site, and i imagine, for a lot of people, reading it is part of the foreplay before the big event! So, please please don't bugger things up. Respect to all.

I read a weaselly non-apology where you semi-apologized to one poster(because he was "just being sarcastic"; as in, I'm sorry I interpreted your posts as being sincere) and then turned around and blamed other people for your shitty attitude. Don't worry about my reading comprehension or my post count- I've always held to the maxim that if you have nothing worthwhile to say, don't say anything at all. Posting verbal diarrhea like "fuk u faggut u talk like a woman" across the forum is nothing to be proud of.

But whatever, you're obviously not worth arguing with, so have fun in Amsterdam ruining the image of us pot lovers, I guess.
