My 6th trip out to Amsterdam, this time with two friends, M and S (not the supermarket lol). M's second trip and J's 3rd or 4th. M doesnt know too much about distinguishing between good/bad weed, therefore I am his guru for two days.
We get to Dam square around 11 am, check in, dump bags and head straight out. First stop:

Hunters
Me: Amnesia Haze: Was darker than it used to be. Still went for it thoug, probably because it was my first shop! It had a decent taste and it definitely hit us (we hadn't eaten since 4 am). 6.5/10
Chocolope: Very pale green, covered in crystals, amazing smell. Picked out a nug (~1.5g). Didnt smoke it until later in the day but it was fantastic. Amazing chocolope taste. 8.5/10
Royal King Hassan: Lovely hash, smelt very nice, very soft and oretty strong 8/10
S: NYCDiesel: Strong Diesel smell and taste. Looked a little but shwaggy - 6.5/10

We were debating whether to get food or more weed. We opted for more weed and:
Green Place
Me: Twizzla (1g @ 13e): Very nice hash. Nice spicy smell that transfers into the taste. 7.5/10
S: OG Kush: Lovely kush smell and taste. Very strong. Lovely smoke 8/10
M: Lemon Larry: Looked OK, smelt pretty good, tasted pretty hazy. 7/10

At this point we were starving and were in need of some bacon so headed over to Stones Cafe for three 'Irish' Breakfasts. Expensive but the opportunity to smoke/eat in the same place was quite rare so we embraced it and lit up some OG Kush and Lemon Larry.

We were now ready for some blow-your-socks of buds.

Grey Area
Me: 1g Grey Crystal - 22e? - As impressive as ever - 9/10
1g Mango OG - 13e? - Very nice smell and taste. Not as strong as I thought it would be - 6.5/10
1g Golden Soles - price? - My favourite non-icolator hash (until I made it to Bushdoctor). Lovely smell and taste. Very strong - 9/10
S: Cannalope Haze - price? - Nice looking buds, great smell, could definitely taste the haze and the cannalope. 8/10
M: Lemon Leary - price? - M loves his lemon strains if you couldnt tell by now. he loved it, I thought it was a bit damp tbh and therefore I give it 6.5/10
Note: The C-13 (or C-12? something like that) which was written on the menu at the top along with Mango OG looked amazing, should have bought some in hindsight. Also managed to get a nice table in there.

We then went on a little walk south until we ended up at:
Bushdoctor
I was looking forward to this place purely for their super strong Icolators
Me: Gran Daddy - 55e/g - Toxic smell, unbelievably strong. 10/10
OG Honeycomb - 55e/g - A different smell but still toxic! VERY strong 10/10
Mexi Maroc - 15e/g - Excellent hash, VERY soft, VERY strong smell. LOVED this hash. 10/10
M: 1g Chem Dawg - 55e/g? - Dark sludge that is lime green when broken apart.
S: 0.5g Chem dawg
1g Sherezard - Good strong hash, nowhere near as potent as Mexi Maroc - 8/10

M & S were now desperate to try their butter. I warned them that they would lose most of their day in Amsterdam. They didnt care. So back to the hotel it was to vegetate for a little bit.

I managed to wake people up around 18:45. Everyone starving we headed in the direction of Buger Bar, Kolksteeg for some Kobe. Closed for refurbishments I told them there was another one near the bushdoctor we were at before. They point blank refused to walk that far for food even though I told them that it would be the best burger they'v ever had. So we ended up at Wok to Walk/Go, which ever is on Kolksteeg near Burger Bar. Was a good meal, mainly because we were so hungry.
Walking our food off we ended up at;
Barneys
I always visit Barneys, even though some people class it as a tourist trap, I always find great quality there.
Me: Red Diesel - looked amazing, smelt amazing and tasted amazing. Very strong: 9/10
King Hassan - Great smell, and looks. Wasn't as soft and pliable as Royal King Hassan[/b but still a very nice smoke. 8/10
S: Vanilla Kush - Another top notch Kush. Amazing smell and looks. Great kush taste. 8.5/10

Popped into Dampkring after Barneys to see what Riffmans they had. To my surprise they had Malaki which I have never tried before. This was a fantastic hash. I still haven't tried it properly, i.e. without the cloudy judgement of other weeds/hashes. I'll give it 9/10

The rest of the night was spent smoking and wandering around the RLD until we retired to the room for some ice/butter.
The next morning I was desperate to visit Voyagers as I've never been. I walked in to a very clean, bright room and was made to feel very welcome by the lady bud tender. She showed us ALL of her wares. Everything looked absolutely amazing. The quality of the buds reminded me only of Grey Area. Everyting they had was just super large buds that looked amazing. I went for the King Kong (2.4g), which I thought looked the best of a fantastic bunch, and the Purple Strawberry Bliss (1.8g). Both were amazing. The King Kong was probably the smoke of the trip. We sat in Voyagers for about an hour playing cards until we were couldn't fight the hunger any more. M&S wanted somewhere to eat and smoke, the only place our baked heads could come up with was Grasshopper (which I have never stepped foot in before this day). We ordered our 15e (WTF) burgers and sat down with some King Kong. Burgers were OK, nothing to write home about. not a snitch on Burger Bar. The rest of this day is literally a Haze. All I remember is sitting in the hotel waiting for a car to the airport (waaaay too stoned to deal with trains!).

Nice report, So, how good was the isolator at bushdoctor.. was it a total couch lock or up high? did it creap up on you, or smack you, like a brick on the head ?

Good to hear that the Malaki is back and it so happens that I am flying to Amsterdam tomorrow and good report on Golden Soles as well. I wonder which one I will start with? Hmm

The budtender at Bushdoctor told me that the Gran Daddy is an 'upper'. I've smoked Gran Daddy on three different occasions now and every time it has just ansolutely smacked me upside the head with a HEAVY stone. The OG is very similar power-wise.

Nice report, my hash loving mate allways goes on about Bushdoctors Mexi Maroc. I need to get my hands on some next trip, i just dont like the dealers in there.

Oh,and you should have gotten that c13 from Grey Area, it was quite good when I had it in January....

I know Lamont, I read it on your report (which I found very enjoyable btw). I just ended up spending SOOO much on other stuff!
