my normal tactic is to read the posts of what people are smoking and take note of which strains keep getting mentioned, but also when I get there I ask the tenders which are good for a buzzy walkabout and which will get me totally shitfaced.
Mind you I like to try as many different varieties of hash/grass as I can possibly consume

I think I met 1 guy from the forum once, we were in Abraxus(before they ruined the downstairs area) and the guy sitting near us had the oracle - ACD Map
so I said Hi and reccommended a few shops we liked and mentioned the map by nemesis, which had a few not shown on the ACD. I never asked his name but it was cool seeing someone who obviously comes on here.
