Hey there, Im turning 18 on thursday and am heading out to the Dam in August. Since my hotel is extremely close to De Overkant Hortus I had the idea of heading in their just to pickup a few grams before checking into the hotel. I know there isnt a seating area or anywhere to 'chill' but I looked at the menu's online and I could have sword it says over 21's only??
Can anyone confirm or deny this please?
Thanks

I wasn't asked for ID when I went, but it should be 18. Greenhouse Namaste , Bluebird and Reefer are also close buy. I know for a fact you can buy at Greenhouse Namaste at 18, but you have to be 21 to stay.
Peace,
Balou

Will a UK driving licence do or will I have to bring my passport?

Why does it matter if it was passport or Driving Licence if you dont mind me asking? Is one fake?
Edit.. That went down like a lead balloon

Nope, I'd just rather carry around my small card in my wallet in my pocket rather than carrying around my passport which I value a bit more
My passport is going to be in the safe at the hotel, Im terribble with losing things!

Nah! I would not want to jeopardise the safety of the CoffeeShops owner.

In 2004 it was over 21's on the menu website.
If you look at 2010 october it says 18 and over. It should be fine

That he would not want to get the owner of the coffeeshop in deep shit by using fake id. If caught selling to under 18's the c/s owner would lose his licence. Meaning one less c/s and more power to weed pass lobby (which fortunately the Mayor of Amsterdam is opposed to)

He said "who you mean", not "what you mean." It's a pretty clear reference to a previous thread.
