TAKING ME straight back!!!!!!!!

Right i am sitting here toking a spliff of HGF cheese (That diry quaze looking one) and for me it takes me straight back to the Dam. I have never had this with any other strain in my life just this and only recently started working with it.

What i am asking is, do you have a particular strain you smoke at home that is grown in your home country that takes you back?

no, not just you fella, this happend to me recently. my best mate started to grow, his 1st crop was L.A con. never had this before in the uk/birmingham. my mate did himself proud with an awesome crop, reminded me of when i 1st had it from grey area, think it was 2007, and took me right back to my last trip last oct when bagheera had an absolute stonking batch. trouble is its all gone now and his next grow (blue cheese) is a good couple of months away yet

ha ha yea man, i got hold of some Bubblegum at crimbo, was amazing, perfect cure and well flushed it had that sweet musky taste that made you almost cough on the exhale was sweet. just like the taste i remember from picasso about 5yrs ago. Nice 1 kermit you just made me decide what my first smoke is gona be on my next trip

Anyone know where or if there is any nice bubblegum about at moment and has anyone been to Picasso recentlly

Just the smell of coffee does it for me now. Sometimes I cant even distinguish between coffee and weed because the smell links to the same memories in my brain I think. I have been smoking for 10 years but this has only been an issue since my 1st AMS trip 2 years ago.

I dont have a particular strain that would take me back, but where people come round my house and into my room there is always a quip like "CORRR, is stinks like a coffeeshop in here"... take me back for a split second everytime

That coffee smell does it for me too. There's a cafe that I walk past every morning on the way to work that has that fresh coffee and fresh orange juice smell that hits me as i walk past. It instantly makes me think of Amsterdam and coffeeshops. The building that the cafe is in has similar architecture to buildings in Amsterdam, which is common in central London, so that reminds me too.

the taste of a nice hash takes me back to dam for sure. no real strain that i can think of though. alot of things take me back to diff places. the smell of lemon dawn dish soap takes me back to a vacation i took at age 16/2001 EVERYTIME.

activities take me back to dam too...a nice early morning joint w/ coffee or tea and a paper and some good music...makes me think im right in dam. going downtown on the light rail to get smoke takes me back too. our light rail cars are alot like the trams in amsterdam.

Its funny I just wrote about this type of thing in another post yesterday, anyhow..I dont buy herbs at home anymore but do have a few old dead head/ hippie friends that I trade with and one of them absolutely loves the C-99 pineapple pheno I grow so he came over a couple nights ago with some amnesia haze to trade and as soon as I stuck my nose in the bag I was sitting in Amnesia smoking this very bud....and wow this herb is so freaking nice to smoke in the daytime....memories...gotta go back soon!
