Just a quick one.....

My flight are booked, and deposit on our apt paid,.... I have just found out it is Gay Pride!

From what I can see the main attraction for Pride is the parade around Prinsengracht,......

Is Amsterdam going to be HEAVING? I know this is summer holidays time so it will be busy anyway but how much will this affect numbers of people in the CS's?

Really Marco, I was planning on giving it a wide birth, dropping off the ladies so they can stare at oiled bodies without the need for me and my pal to feel threatened, then for us two to hit centrum.

Thanks, I might just check it out then, never been to one in the uk either, so will be an experience I reckon.

Its a great party, you won't be threatened unless you are attracted to them Really, they won't give you or me a second look, but its cool to watch the boat parade, you will also see some politicians, this year there will be a boat from the military.

Last year it rained though, did not see it.

Me and the missus were there last year when gay pride was on, the cs don't get that busy. The parade's alright, nothing special - a lot of boats blasting out music with a few fellas dancing away, it's worth having a look if yr about.
