Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory Forums

I'm coming to Amsterdam with a few friends to celebrate finishing uni and all that. Last time we went we spent the five days in coffee shops exclusively and did literally nothing else; so this time around we want to do some more things as well as the essential coffee shop experience!

Are there any things happening in Amsterdam in these dates? I will of course search this forum and keep this thread updated for things going on just in case someone else is coming these dates!

That's amazing, Cage The Elephant are wicked! I'm definitely going to try and get people to go to this. Thanks a lot

The Van Gough museum imo is a must. About 15e last time I visited. Get well stoned before you go in. Standing in front of the sun flower painting (he painted about 12 versions) makes my hair stand on end. Bet Vincent liked a good toke too. We went there last time but didn't go in for some reason. I'll definitely do it this time around! Cheers

you could try coffeeshops around de pijp area.. then coffeeshops around zeeburg.. and to top it off coffeeshops everywhere else (you get to see alot of Dam, you might be wasted but thats a bonus for me). done attractions canal ride, sex museum, Heineken brewery and others i forget but they lacked for me.. maybe a picnic at vondelpark or Amsterdam Botanical Garden..

We managed like 30 coffee shops last time we went! We basically had a map with them all on and tried to get to them all, inevitably we didn't manage all haha. The sex museum was pretty funny, and cannabis college was cool too. Might try the Heineken brewery this time. Also bikes look good too!

De Hortus Botanicus is well worth a visit. It was smaller than I expected but we took our time walking around, really enjoyed ourselves,.... and it was reasonably priced aswel.

I lost my glasses there but didn't realise until well over an hour after we left, they were fine about letting us back in to look for them, took me a while to retrace all of my steps but I eventually got them,... about two yards away from the exit! DOH!

OK so we are heading over in less than a week. The anticipation of the week in Amsterdam is almost over; I've finished uni and will get results from my exams over there!

So where is good at the moment, I'm looking for a really nice bud, something that will blow my head off because I never seem to get it over in the UK! Also going to be trying some hash too, any particular recommendations?

coming from UK too! Will be there from 21st till 24th! getting my results on the last day as well;)

Someone should arrange a T&T for all us stoners from the UK sometime during 20th to 24ish
