We, my fella and I are going to the Dam in July for my 40th birthday. Any strong recommendations?
Thanks

Mrrow.

My strongest recommendation is to stay the fuck out of the bicycle lanes.

And my litter box!

Have a great birthday visit!!

Welcome to the forum.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

What dates will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

Enjoy

Thanks for the reccomendations so far. We'll be sure to avoid the bike lanes!

FlyByNite - We will be arriving on the morning of the 29th July, (my 40th birthday) and leaving on the 1st Aug.

We've been reading cafe reviews and most seem to be mixed but have selected about 6 so far that we think sound like our scene. Is it worth doing any museums or should we just get stoned!!!

You have been posted on the July and August Whos In Town pages.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/membe ... le&u=61213

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

The Verzets Museum (World War II Dutch Resistance) across from the zoo was an interesting visit if you're into that sort of thing. Modest admission and not a big time investment.
