hi.
im flying to amsterdam in 10 hours
when im there i want to get something from the headshops that has the same effect as cocaine. can anyone recommend anything??

Nothing you get from a headshop will have the same effects as cocaine. Even then you have no idea what's actually in it.

If you really wanna try something like that have some of the brown herbal speed stuff they sell in the smart shops (like 7 euro for a MASSIVE tub of it). It tastes like soap and it will make you sneeze but on the flip side it will keep you up for a while!

it said 3 doses a day max , but i just took the entire bag in 3/4 glasses .
Gave me a high , and a 2hour long boner !

Nah this stuff was like a cinamon (sp) flavour which you snorted? I've tried that stuff in the smallbottle that you just drink that was quite good I thought but waaayyyyy to expensive (20 euro) for what it done.

The stuff you had sounds quite the adventure though

was watching a program last night about smuggling, and that they class Dover as the gateway to Europe, and then Amsterdam as the main 'HUB' where it all gets re-packaged etc..

pretty interesting.

on another note tho: MontyPython, you will most likely be offered coke as you walk around amsterdam, i wouldnt buy it from the people on the streets, even if they offer to give you a test, whatever your testing you wont receive.

but the yayo in amsterdam is top notch if you know the people. . .

I dont get why you're selling this ideia that you can get easily any drug in Amsterdam, which is false in my experience of being here for 1month and half living.

First the easiest you can get an illegal drug in amsterdam the easiest you will be scammed, the real question is how much you will get scammed. Guys offering drugs in clubs or in red light is proven fact its all shit. The guys with the good stuff dont need to sell random touristisbecause they already have a network of contacts and places and wont risk that much for 60E.

Second you still need either to know someone, or go to the right place and talk with right people. I have said this before but applies anywhere and this is your best chance getting something: find alternative parties (specially psy trance, also techno, and d'n'b), get into a bike taxi and talk with driver (they know well the city..), and finaly befriend bartenders or hostel staff (although this last 2 is a russian rolette, ask in a subtle and natural way thats my advice as hostel receptionist myself).

Amsterdam is a great place for new experiences but remember if you're in doubt doing something don't do it or BUY it! I have seem so far too much people going wrong and being dumb ass, usual moderation applies here too. Have fun and stay safe!
