I need a nice hotel near Basjoes please

Post by templeball »

Hi folks
if the apartment I want is available i need to put up two straight friends in a hotel nearby to me. Im close to Basjoes as the nearest landmark, hee hee :D :D :D :D :D

I dont want a budget or stoners hotel as it would freak out his non smoking normal girlfriend who has taken enough convincing as it is! So anyone know a decent but not daft money hotel in the center and preferably on my side of the centrum?

any tips very much appreciated

The NH Doelen Hotel is about a 5 minute walk down the canal. Hotel Rokin and Rho Hotel are not far away, maybe a 10 minute stroll. How much are they actually looking to spend? WHen are you going?

Peace,

Tell his non-smoking girlfriend to relax and that it will be the time of her life. What a great city!

Nice topic,My experience on this topic.Doelen Hotel is just nearest from Basjoes at walking distance. It has a few tables on a terrace outside which fill up quickly in summer, but otherwise most visitors tend to walk right past.

Amsterdam House Eureka Hotel. 10 mins max from Basjoe's; Relaxed vibe, double rooms with wonderfull view overlooking the Amstel, en-suite, bar, smoke friendly in bedrooms (but they advise to do it out the window) - but not a "smokers" hotel. Ace breakfast free on first morning- E10 thereafter. Costs E218 for two sharing for two nights, stayed there three times now and love the place
