You'll get bigger yields off coco/hydro but the flavour and effects are better when grown in soil organically.

i will respectivly disagree, and the soil growers( around here),no maztter the flush,no matter the the soil..it always has that earthy ground,i cant desribe it right, taste ,i just know my flush is cleaner..i mean i can see it running clear, and the end product is pure..id love to have a friend that we could compare head to head results..i would like that challenge :D

have tried the tangerine nectar from barneys. THINK it was 40e/g and if it was, that's good value because the stuff is amazing. I looked at it under the scope- perfectly formed, perfectly even rows of golden resinous globules... mm. It was pure and soft, fresh fruity taste and sativa high, comparable to 100% sativa, grinspoon etc but more intense. I mixed the grinspoon with the nectar for a soaring sativa salad. not usually impressed with barnesy & their pricing but this was v nice. haven't tried the tangerine dream.

USBL: what about next year 420... little contest. 1 strain, 1 referee, 1 chance, 1 winner?

Boner, that is the common thought amoungst growers in the hydro vs soil argument. I have personally done what USBL is wanting to do, I and a friend grew the same herb (blueberry and bubblegum). I in 5 gal bio soil and all bio ferts and he in a flood/drain hydro set up, same watts/light. We started with clones and honestly I could tell absolutely no difference in taste or smell....the only difference was he finished faster and his yield was heavier... Now others claimed mine was way tastier and stronger...not sure about all that as I rarely taste all these exotic flavors and smells others claim to find in herb...
I honestly would do hydro but I have been using soil for so long (10+ years) and I have my grow dialed in, so although I could no doubt increase yield I don't sell and already grow more than I can smoke anyway...so ill keep haulin dirt...
