travel report by coffee shop

4 days in DAM (19, 21/24 April) and 6 coffee shops later, here are my thoughts (sorry for english errors/mistakes):


420 Coffe Shop

Tried almost every strain in the menu:

- 420 Kush 12euros/g - mild stone, not very well cured, tasted way better when vaporized
- 420 Haze 13euros/g - nothing special
- Parvati Creme 13 euros/g - oh! good hash. delicious taste and smell, second best hash this trip
- Neville's Haze 12or13 euros/g - best strain in the menu, pure sativa, lasting high, great smoke.
- White Widow - really beautiful buds but disappointing smoke, no taste at all
- Blueberry - nothing to wave about, harsh on throat

Service: oh, this guys are great fellows! best staff in town, by far.

The Shop: best tunes in town, relaxing atmosphere. Went there everyday I was in DAM.


Grey Area:

For sure they have the best weed in Town (at least in the center of DAM)

- SilverBubble 13euros/g - Delicious taste and smell. Oh this weed is strong. The best smoke this trip. Perfect.
- Casey Jones 13euros/g - Monster/Alien weed. Distinctly smelly. Great.
- Chocolope 11or 12 euros/g - Much much better than Voyagers version. Smell delicious. Up high.
- Big Budda Chese 11euros/g - Not perfectly cured. Average.
- Golden Soles 13euros/g - Best hash this trip, perfumed and tasty hash. Easy to play with.
- Recon 10or11euros/g - Become one of my personal favorites smokes. Perfectly cured. Great taste. Great smell. Great lasting High. Complete ganja.
- Kandy Kush 14euros/g- Awesome smell. Cured in perfection. Strong. Maybe the strongest weed this trip.
- Spacecake 5 euros - made me sleep during the flight back home (what is good).

Service: 2 different budtenders during my visit, both very nice people. Had the Kandy Kush by recomendation and was not disappointed.

The Shop: small, allways packed, did buy and flys only.


Hunters:

Close to my hostel. Had better thoughts of this place from last year trip. This time was kind of disappointing.

Amnesia Haze - 14 euros/g - Perfectly cured, goodlooking bud, strong weed. As good as allways. Safe choice.
NYC Diesel - 14 euros/g - Crap, I smoke better outdoor buds growned by an amatour back home. No diesel at all.
Sour Diesel - 13 euros/g - Much better than the NYC. You can smell the diesel. Looks like the real deal.

Service: Never had any problem here. The woman budtender is very nice. The others were respectful enough.

The Shop: The music here makes my think about suicide. That's the reason I can't stay more than 20 minutes (just enough to smoke a Amnesia Haze joint!!!)


Dampkring 2:

Was here for a wake and bake with some nice toasts. Allways liked this coffee shop but the budtender was rude this time.

- Chiesel 9or10 euros/g - average effects, godd smell.
- Riffmann's Sheeba 8or9 euros/g - Disappointed by this hash. I had huge expectation. Far far away from 420's Parvati Creme and Grey Area's Golden Soles, but, than, it's cheaper.
- Super Silver Haze ?euros - oh yeh, this one is good. Pungent. Strong lasting high!

Service: Rude pretentious juvenile budtender but great sweet goodlooking waitress.

The Shop: I love this place. It was a sunny sunday morning and the windows of the 3rd floor were open illuminating the room. Simple amazing!


Voyagers

Don't know why people like this place so much.

OG 18 ?euros/g - Not well cured bit strong weed.
Chocolope ?euros/g - hundred km away from Grey Area's version.

Service: Good.

The Shop: Needs a uplift. Great location in the RLD.


Club Media:

Did a fly and buy at the last day of the trip. Next trip I will come here more times, for sure.

- Pot of Gold 8euros/g - This is good weed. Perfectly cured, great taste. For 8 euros a g it is a bargain. Definitly one of the best values of the trip.

Service: Can't say a word.

The Shop: Same as above.


Amnesia Coffe Shop:

Had a splif outside. Great moment.

- Top Dawg 10euros/g: Nowhere near what I had previous year in Dampkring 2 but still a good smoke.

Service: Good. Nice budtender.

The Shop: Trendy.


Overall:

Best weed - SilverBubble (Grey Area)
Best value weed - Pot of Gold (Club Media)
Best Hash - Golden Soles (Grey Area)
Best Coffee Shop - 420 Coffe Shop

That's it. I'm not sure about the prices, you must notice.

I got some pretty bad service at Dampkring 2 as well. Although the great buds more than make up for it.

420 is up there as one of my favourites. I've been in there maybe 4 times and every single time they seem to have the perfect music for me. Great atmosphere.
