Rent? How much does something like that cost? The website doesn't have much if any info. It looks pretty cool, and in the back there looks like a chill area.

So what is it something like 15 euros for an hour? and you can't leave the shop?

And on a side note: Where else can you rip a roor in Amsterdam?

I'll chime in for twitch since we have been discussing this......you can rent them to take with you! you leave a deposit (ranges from ~80E to ~400E) and then its something like 10E a day for the rental. Return the piece undamaged and you get your deposit back and square up on the rental charge. It appears they have a varying and somewhat limited stock of rentals (twitch had a list of about 15 that were currently available), and they will reserve one for you if you contact them before your trip but that is not always necessary (might be a good idea around Cup time and around 4:20 time).

I would imagine they take your CC info or something serious when you rent, as those things can be pricey. On the other hand, Anyday, Grey Area, Amnesia (or they used to?) and other select shops will supply a RooR. Small ones aren't THAT expensive, if you think it's worth the investment.

ok..hmm..lets see..got that..yeah got that one..that one..yeah that ones over on the coffee table..hell ill rent ya one...lol...my sugestion is to buy a decent cheap one...and give it to the budtender at your favorite shop when ya leave...they love ya for it..youll see..if yer lucky youll get to smoke it next time ya come to that shop...bushdoctor has two of mine...just for your info..i can purchase any of those bongs cheaper then the deposit..lol...not there..here in baltimore..man they get ya too..i would dread breakin it..alot of cash to lose on a rental..just remeber you can buy a straight tube thats the same as a roor with out the roor sticker for a quarter of the price...

they are quality....but in this day and age unfortunately marketing and elitist hype permeate every aspect of life sooo we are paying for a name.

i personally just like the idea of being able to have a really nice glass bong in my apartment for the ten days i wil be there and not have to actually buy one and throw it away or give it away .....

Roor is bad ass and I must smoke out of one on my trip.

But, with that being said, im not going to depoist 90 euros for one. Just because I know there is a chance it might get broken. I don't think I need it bad enough to where im going to lug it around Amsterdam and risk it getting broken in a coffeeshop.

Do you know if you can "test" one out in house? Like at the shop itself?

So Grey Area and Amnesia let you smoke out of Roors?

i buy a roor bong every trip i goto amsterdam! i just love them. they are amazing. they hit unlike any other bong.. depending on the roor bong u choose.

the last time i was there, less than a year, they did not take Credit cards. strictly cash. .. so for ur deposit u need to leave cash. also im not sure what justifies for full money return.

i have a few roor bongs, and some has the smallest of chips where the glass on glass connects... now for some unfortunate reason, u get ur rental bong, and u buy chance even scratch, chip or slightly modify the bong , im sure you will be stuck with the bong.

then... how do u get it home? it has been used, i guess u could clean it, but is it worth it??? my suggestion is to try out some nice CS roor bongs (amnesia has them to try, also homegrown had clean ones) and if u like roor bongs, buy one before you leave and bring it home.

i just could see even the smallest thing making someone lose there deposit. and plus, how often are u in ur hotel, apartment when ur in a-dam.

just my opinion. if you really want to rent one, i would suggest getting one that is not to expensive.

It is only being rented. You return it to shop after use and as long as you bring it back clean and unbroken you pay ? eu. per day depending on type of pipe. You have the option of buying it, but don't have to. Have emailed jo and Lisa at Roor and they have told me they prefer cash over credit cards for deposit, but will also take drivers license in lieu of cash. I have been rethinking this myself. Some one on another site suggested instead of renting, figure out what you would have spent renting roor and then buy decent glass bong for that amt. at head shop and then give to favorite c.s when leaving. I like that idea a lot.

my only thing is, yes u are only renting it, but realistically, it is easy to chip glass, as small of a chip it may be. and this will end up biting u in the ass...

why bother worrying about the bong the time ur there, just smoke the ones in the shop and if u really want one, get one to bring home with u.

i also like the idea of buying a small bong or pipe and leaving it for ur fav shop. i have done this with some bowls i got from roor before. good ol amnesia has a few nice ones.

How much (in euros) would a Roor be at this shop in A'Dam?

Im talking a small simple one like a Lil Sister, the small 12 inches beaker one?

Whats the price from cheapest to highest?

edit: (on the www.roor.de they have it listed for 79euros.. that is the lil sista of course, so are these prices the same in the shop in Amsterdam?)

Thanks. www.roor.de is the same site as www.roor.com. I am just wondering if prices on the website are prices reflective of those in the shop in Amsterdam.
