i recieved an email from them today. I had made an inquiry to roor.de and since they dont shipt to usa it was forwarded to roor amsterdam. anyway i sent a reply asking if they were the same shop that rented roors. she informed me they were and if you buy a piece while there they will rent you one free of charge. can anyone verify this?

yes that is true..

u can also rent the bong for ur trip and then if u decide to buy the bong at the end of ur trip, they will include the money it cost for renting the bong into the final price if you decide to buy it after renting it.

i beleive u also need to put a deposit for the full price of the bong you rent until it is returned, and its like 7 euro a day or something...

great looking shop!! i love it, and the lady that runs it is amazing, she even met me at the store on her day off... she has kept my business!!

went to the store today. really beautiful store. i was like a kid in a candy store. originally planned to get just an ashcatcher but got a new orange label zumo instead. big impulse buy. the price was 207 euros but they gave me a discount of 15 euros.

Sweet. So I'm on the lookout for a passport that has a picture similar to mine, belonging to someone else...hehe

So let me get this straight if I go in there get a roor to take home (USA), they will let me rent one to use for my stay for free? If so, I'm sold.

no.. they will not let you use just any bong for free. they will let you use the one you actually plan on purchasing for free.

for instance.. you go in on your first day of the trip and rent a bong.. after your stay you decide you like the bong so much you want to buy it.. they will credit you for the rental and take it off the price of the bong. rather than pay for the rental and also buy the bong.

Why not just rent a vaporizer?

You may want to check with them about that.
My understanding was that it was towards the one you rented.

I might have been misinformed, but either way i am sure you can find a shop that sells a cleaning solution or even some rubbing alchol. Just give it a clean every once in awhile as fresh tar and resin is a hell of alot easier to clean than stuck on, baked on resin. Then before you leave, give it a good scrubbing before you ship it off.
