Dam 420 2011 Trip 18-22/4/11
Mon 18/4
Flight leaves on time 06:10, quick flight & train ride & i'm outside Voyagers for 08:50 , still shut/opening
So head back into Central , have a look at the White Russian which looks & smells very nice 
grab a E12 bag & head down to HSB@M , roll a WR outside while the BT is finishing opening up , White Russian = FUCKING AWFUL won't burn pure which completely pisses me off & hardly burns when I rip the J apart & re-roll it mixed with baccy , possibly no flush atall , disgusting taste & rock solid black ash that I had to flick off the end
Settle into HSB@M , get my standard HSS & am happy to see Happy Farmer back on the menu loved this stuff last year but this time looked scraggy & smelled of pretty much nothing pass , buy a grinder & the bt throws in a lighter ,pack of papers & book of tips
Grab a coffee head to the back & roll up the special , lovely
The special gets me nicely buzzed & once my coffee's done I head off to The Old Quarter to check in , only to be told that they have been very busy & I can't get my room until 14:00 , fuck , not to worry , drop my bags & head out towards Betty Boop hoping ( & saying a little prayer ) that it had improved since last october.
Decide to go to Kadinsky(Zoutsteeg)1st (it's just so close) for Trans Hymalayan(sp) fucking hell I LOVE THIS HASH , 2g's please
don't stay but head north towards BB , remember Blues Brothers is up ahead so fly & buy some Ed Rosenthal(sp) smells just lovely
Only thing I don't get is they had a menu with the strains/g price then once i'd picked the bt showed me a written list stuck to the counter which had E10/E20/E30/E40/E50 , which was what you had to pick from, other than that , it seemed a nice enough place & the staff were friendly enough so i'll prob go back & give it another go , maybe stop awhile next time
Head over to Betty Boop (again little prayer said) , once there , hhhhmmmmmm something looks different ? new paint job in & out good start , menu ? (absolute CRAP last october)

Tells me abit about BB's history , family run business , his Dad died last year which led to the downturn in business but that they were back running like before & were looking to keep improving Asked about their DarkStar (another strain I loved ) to be told the parent plants & genetics had been taken back to USA ;-( but that they were trying to find another source
Weed Pass ?(I had to ask) erm ????? his opinion, most towns/citys will say no , Amsterdam will say FUCKOFF @ the top of it's voice no matter what anywhere else does
Also taked about Betty Too , which did belong to them but was sold to the current owners 4 years ago , who just decided to keep the name .
** I am over the green moon that Betty Boop is back imo , loved the place since my 1st visit there , great menu , nice little location imo , they have a shitload of tables outside , main bt is a good guy , mad as fuck sense of humour but a good guy **

Get to Paradox , grab ISO , SSH & 2 cakes roll a SSH & introduce myself to Hestia (ballots on the table , whoelse was it going to be lol ) & settle in . I get shown the cup (fair play Trad)
Think we were smoking for 20 or so mins before anyone else turned up , then boom , full table, j's , pipes & tutti's vape being passed all over ( that vapes wicked thanks for sharing i've already started saving for 1 )

PO eventually sorted , into the square for prezzies for home , drop them at the hotel then went straight back out, over to Anyday which unfortunatly was packed out so I carried on up to Resin it was an alright shop , bit to fucking green though , didn't find it very comfortable either . Grabbed a g of AK47 , which I smoked there, hit quick & gave me an all over stone , it was very nice Then went into Soup Kitchen for a coffee & toasty , yum yum nice place , friendly waitresses Hunger sorted , walked down to HGF & sat outside smoking Lemon Haze , AZLaker & Mrs AZ turned up & we had a little smoke outside then more of a smoke inside so AZ could hit the bong No clue how long we were there , but we split for food , I ended up at Burger Bar - Philly Steak , FUCKING AWESOME .
Going towards Nes for the meet , veer off slightly & go into Pick Up The Pieces , check out their Amnesia which smels great but with a little citrus twist

Left Nes around 00:00 ish for munchies , went to Cafe Rene , just off Dam Square , nice little bakery/cafe , not really cheap E4.50 bronie anyone but more importantly it's open till 02:00 I think so a late night munch can be had Wandered slowly back to the hotel & crashed around 01:00ish

Around 19:30 ish went for a wander with trad , big dan & daveJ I think , ending up via wonder wok at Basjoe
What I remember ---- I was sat with 08-420 & AZ & Basjoes' was packed inside & out , James handed out 2 big full bongs " for 420 people " not sure what it was but fuck was it strong ( i don't often use bongs , that fucked me up ) .
Down to Nes for 22:00 ish , in roll then join Twitchaldinho, Nizzle & Cisco who are of for a munch 1 burger Bar visit later & were in Green Place smoking /passing fuck knows lol
Cisco also gave out a shitload of his Reeces , lovely munch & didn't even seem to make a dent in the bag lol , stayed until it closed then split up in the square
Back to the hotel where I stupidly/cleverly stayed up smoking a bit of everything I had left
until i passed out around 05:00 ish
Weds 20/4
Woke up feeling stoned 11:00 , brekkie missed light the J in the ashtray then quick shower , dressed & out
Over to Green Place but don't go straight in , sit up from it along the canal eating a cheesesalad roll that I got from a bakery but can't remember which 1
Into GP , grab a drink & join the others in the back , those I remember , philly rich , rasa, gapie , AZlaker, yogi , hestia , daveJ , 08-420 ,anyone else ?
3 big 15g? j's ahve been done for us , outstanding we smoke 2 of them in around an hour along with everything else that is being passed . Philly shows me the biggest block of iso/ice i've ever held , lovely smoke that was , cheers mate ( still can;t believe you lost it )
Leave GP wasted down to Dampkring , hang about outside , down for the webcam wave (yes we were early ) ring home , pics done

I'm not even goin to try & list all that were there but talked with uncle ron for quite a while & Nes was packed Left around 20:30 to try the sausage stand in the square ( think it was islandgurl who recommended it so thanks )
Giant bratwurst later i'm walking up to Voyagers
Meet Cisco & Twitchal' again , then Kermit (not sure if you remember the growing & iso tips you gave me but cheers again ) who shared some DEATH , fills your lungs & fucks you up that stuff bloody lovely
Smoke a while in Voyagers then head over to Buger Bar ,on the way Cisco grabs some NL from HSB's , which Kermit is certain is not NL munch sorted we carry on to Dampkring2,
1 g riffman sherasomething , E9 & very nice hash it is , smoke awhile , have a nice hot choccy too .
Kermit went of to get his scooter? & the others came with me to Cafe Rene split again in the square & off to our hotels
I went for a wander around 01:30? for an hour or so ( think i bumped into daveJ down by febo:-) ) & then once back just couldn't sleep so stayed up smoking all night

06:00 went for a walk until around 07:30, watched Dam keep waking up
Back for a shower then brekkie(paid the extra E5 for a full brekkie-eggs, bacon,beans,mushrooms,cocktail sausages,toast n jam/butter & a pot of coffee)
and was back out by 08:30 headed for Siberie ( me & kernit had talked about wether it opened at 9 or 11 , it was 11 ) but still shut , up to Dampkring2 , shut, so into Popeyes , friendly lbt showed me the iso , a very green dust , looked like green nesquik
Ask to see the crystalator , really does look like a crumbled cookie in the pot
Get E20's worth & leave , Dampkring2 doesn't open until 10:00 so head back to the hotel .

Got to Voyagers sometime after 11 , eventually onto the boats
As has been said , THE BOAT TRIP WAS FUCKING AWESOME ,

After the trip , headed down to Bluebird with Cisco to see if they had any So Gouda , no chance
Back to hotel to drop a few bits off , back outside to Baba headshop where Cisco was waiting ( did you find what you were after in the end mate ? ) then headed over to Siberie
Once there we met the moodiest lbt I met all trip , end of her shift but a right snooty cow .
Got Californian (original OB i'm told) fucking delicious pretty sure we stayed for a smoke
Back at Basjoe's for 20:00 for the winning shop party James was clearly overjoyed to get the cup Well done Basjoe
I know I stayed until 23:00 ish , I def got completely wrecked , Cisco was sharing J's with some of the Terminator he had , I was chatting with chillers & her mate(forgot her name , sorry) I remember chillers didn't believe her mate had hit the term J & hit it hard also pretty much passed out in here aswell all good

Up with the alarm at 08:30 ,smoke , straight down for brekkie , back up for wash & final pack ,
down to check out at 10:15 , leave bags until later & head out .Straight up to the station to grab my ticket then I went to Dutch Flowers then Tweede Kamer then Softland looking for something ( my notes say dutch flowers , no , TK , no , Softland , no ? ) ended up in Abraxas , brought an OJ & just sat for a while smoking something & enjoying the breeze
** while the staff were all friendly & had no probs with me buying a drink & smoking my own , it was the only shop were I heard the bt say(to a group of 4 who told him they had just arrived) that they all had to buy weed if they wanted to stay & smoke **
Next I went to Paradox, checked their purple , which looked amazing but smelled awful , pass, grabbed a E5 of SSH & AM Haze chatted with the owner abit & smoked the SSH Lovely bit of weed
Headed up to Amnesia but it was full & no ACDers that I could see , so went back to Betty Boop & rested up outside loads of people around
Back over to Basjoe , quick chat with James about the cup get a drink & have a smoke outside of Paradox's Am Haze .
Decide to head towards Vondel for the meet , but get as far as Muntplein & decide not to & instead wander over towards Barneys Lounge which imo is just the same as the others & not for me .Walk around abit , along the Amstel , back up to the square , grab a dutch meatball from 1 of the little stands & wander about smoking Californian which is knocking the crap out of me
End up back up by the station watching the crowds , pass by Voyagers , back to hotel to get my bags , then down to HSB for a coffee , sit & smoke at the front window seat
Back to Voyagers, see HB outside & have a chat about the boat trip , the CS , improvements they want to make , family Basjoe/Bagheera
Grab a g of PPXBB & roll it all up with the Cali that i have left , mmmmmm very nice mix
Smoke for a bit with Liquidswords & REI ( alright gents ) who are apart from HB the 1st ACDers i've seen today & as were leaving for the station , Cisco turns up slagging off his case lol Leaving Cisco for a last smoke we say our goodbyes & head to the staion .
In my stoned state I almost stop us getting on the right train lol
At the airport I follow the guys through as we all have our boarding passes ,forgetting (stoned state) to check my bag in for the hold (as I really don't want to be carrying this through myself), but straight through anyhow , they were more interested in DaveJ's dvd player lol
Quick McD's munch then waiting at the gate , me , LS, REI , DaveJ , all our flights are up mines called first
Flight leaves at 21:34 & lands at 21:26 timezone travel , love it
Wifey & kids pick me up & were home by 23:00 ,

So all in all HAD A FUCKING AMAZING TRIP , best so far

What I remember ---- I was sat with 08-420 & AZ & Basjoes' was packed inside & out , James handed out 2 big full bongs " for 420 people "
not sure what it was but fuck was it strong ( i don't often use bongs , that fucked me up ) . Down to Nes for 22:00 ish , in roll then join Twitchaldinho, Nizzle & Cisco who are of for a munch
1 burger Bar visit later & were in Green Place smoking /passing fuck knows lolCisco also gave out a shitload of his Reeces , lovely munch & didn't even seem to make a dent in the bag lol , stayed until it closed then split up in the square
Back to the hotel where I stupidly/cleverly stayed up smoking a bit of everything I had left
until i passed out around 05:00 ish
Weds 20/4
Woke up feeling stoned
11:00 , brekkie missed light the J in the ashtray then quick shower , dressed & out Over to Green Place but don't go straight in , sit up from it along the canal eating a cheesesalad roll that I got from a bakery but can't remember which 1
Into GP , grab a drink & join the others in the back , those I remember , philly rich , rasa, gapie , AZlaker, yogi , hestia , daveJ , 08-420 ,anyone else ?

we smoke 2 of them in around an hour along with everything else that is being passed . Philly shows me the biggest block of iso/ice i've ever held , lovely smoke that was , cheers mate ( still can;t believe you lost it )Leave GP wasted

Went off to Betty Boops on my tod for a chill , more Lemon Haze & sat outside smoking & having a coffee , listening to the bt rip the piss out of the "fucking shitty annoying " buskers
Nicely chilled & buzzed went down to Nes , J's , bags , muffins , I got completely wrecked
I'm not even goin to try & list all that were there but talked with uncle ron for quite a while & Nes was packed
Left around 20:30 to try the sausage stand in the square ( think it was islandgurl who recommended it so thanks ) Giant bratwurst later i'm walking up to Voyagers
Meet Cisco & Twitchal' again , then Kermit (not sure if you remember the growing & iso tips you gave me but cheers again ) who shared some DEATH , fills your lungs & fucks you up that stuff
bloody lovely Smoke a while in Voyagers then head over to Buger Bar ,on the way Cisco grabs some NL from HSB's , which Kermit is certain is not NL
munch sorted we carry on to Dampkring2,1 g riffman sherasomething , E9 & very nice hash it is , smoke awhile , have a nice hot choccy
too .Kermit went of to get his scooter? & the others came with me to Cafe Rene
split again in the square & off to our hotels I went for a wander around 01:30? for an hour or so ( think i bumped into daveJ down by febo:-) ) & then once back just couldn't sleep
so stayed up smoking all night Thur 21/4
06:00 went for a walk until around 07:30, watched Dam keep waking up
Back for a shower then brekkie(paid the extra E5 for a full brekkie-eggs, bacon,beans,mushrooms,cocktail sausages,toast n jam/butter & a pot of coffee)
and was back out by 08:30
headed for Siberie ( me & kernit had talked about wether it opened at 9 or 11 , it was 11 ) but still shut , up to Dampkring2 , shut, so into Popeyes , friendly lbt showed me the iso , a very green dust , looked like green nesquik Ask to see the crystalator , really does look like a crumbled cookie in the pot
Get E20's worth & leave , Dampkring2 doesn't open until 10:00 so head back to the hotel .

Got to Voyagers sometime after 11 , eventually onto the boats
As has been said , THE BOAT TRIP WAS FUCKING AWESOME ,
2 hrs or so on the water getting wrecked
Massive thanks to Trad/HB for sorting it out , had a great time
, even when big Dan jumped down into the boat & nearly catapulted me & rasa out (peach haribos mmmmmmm):-):-) scaring the fuck out of me After the trip , headed down to Bluebird with Cisco to see if they had any So Gouda , no chance
Back to hotel to drop a few bits off , back outside to Baba headshop where Cisco was waiting ( did you find what you were after in the end mate ? ) then headed over to Siberie
Once there we met the moodiest lbt I met all trip , end of her shift but a right snooty cow .
Got Californian (original OB i'm told) fucking delicious
pretty sure we stayed for a smoke Back at Basjoe's for 20:00 for the winning shop party
James was clearly overjoyed to get the cup Well done Basjoe I know I stayed until 23:00 ish , I def got completely wrecked , Cisco was sharing J's with some of the Terminator he had , I was chatting with chillers & her mate(forgot her name , sorry) I remember chillers didn't believe her mate had hit the term J & hit it hard
also pretty much passed out in here aswell all good ***@ chillers , did the guy we were chatting with say he was a porn star over doing a bit of work ???? ***
I remember walking to the square with chillers, her mate & blueberry ( pretty pissed off she had a flat tyre)
Said our nights & I headed of to get something to eat , fk's what I got
Got to Voyagers around 00:10 & they were shutting for the night
so headed down to HSB@M, grabbed a coffee lit something & very nearly passed out again Very slow stoned walk back to hotel , bumped into HB walking the Voyagers pitbull
by the old church smoked 1 more J of something back at my room tried to do a bit of packing then crashed around 01:30 Fri 22/4 last day boooooooooo
Up with the alarm at 08:30 ,smoke , straight down for brekkie , back up for wash & final pack ,
down to check out at 10:15 , leave bags until later & head out .Straight up to the station to grab my ticket then I went to Dutch Flowers then Tweede Kamer then Softland looking for something ( my notes say dutch flowers , no , TK , no , Softland , no ? ) ended up in Abraxas , brought an OJ & just sat for a while smoking something
& enjoying the breeze ** while the staff were all friendly & had no probs with me buying a drink & smoking my own , it was the only shop were I heard the bt say(to a group of 4 who told him they had just arrived) that they all had to buy weed if they wanted to stay & smoke **
Next I went to Paradox, checked their purple , which looked amazing but smelled awful , pass, grabbed a E5 of SSH & AM Haze
chatted with the owner abit & smoked the SSH Lovely bit of weed Headed up to Amnesia but it was full & no ACDers that I could see , so went back to Betty Boop & rested up outside
loads of people around Back over to Basjoe , quick chat with James about the cup
get a drink & have a smoke outside of Paradox's Am Haze .Decide to head towards Vondel for the meet , but get as far as Muntplein & decide not to & instead wander over towards Barneys Lounge which imo is just the same as the others & not for me .Walk around abit , along the Amstel , back up to the square , grab a dutch meatball from 1 of the little stands & wander about smoking Californian which is knocking the crap out of me
End up back up by the station watching the crowds , pass by Voyagers , back to hotel to get my bags , then down to HSB for a coffee , sit & smoke at the front window seat
Back to Voyagers, see HB outside & have a chat about the boat trip , the CS , improvements they want to make , family Basjoe/Bagheera
Grab a g of PPXBB & roll it all up with the Cali that i have left , mmmmmm very nice mix
Smoke for a bit with Liquidswords & REI ( alright gents ) who are apart from HB the 1st ACDers i've seen today & as were leaving for the station , Cisco turns up slagging off his case lol Leaving Cisco for a last smoke we say our goodbyes & head to the staion .
In my stoned state I almost stop us getting on the right train
lolAt the airport I follow the guys through as we all have our boarding passes ,forgetting (stoned state) to check my bag in for the hold (as I really don't want to be carrying this through myself), but straight through anyhow , they were more interested in DaveJ's dvd player lol
Quick McD's munch then waiting at the gate , me , LS, REI , DaveJ , all our flights are up mines called first
Flight leaves at 21:34 & lands at 21:26 timezone travel , love it
Wifey & kids pick me up & were home by 23:00 ,
TRIP DONE
So all in all HAD A FUCKING AMAZING TRIP , best so far
