Amsterdam June 5 - 8th

Post by jameseh »

Six of us arriving in dam on the 5th of June for a few nights 8)

We plan on getting off the train and strolling over to central to get the trip started! We cant get into our apartment near damrak until 2pm so where does everyone recommend we head after central?... Bearing in mind we will be hauling our bags

Anyone been to the heineken experience recently? Worth it? It was closed last time i was in town.

James

How many nights will you be in Amsterdam?
I'll post you on the Whos In Town page.

Most places will let you drop bags off well before check in time. If that isn't possible, there are lockers at Centraal Station that you can store bags in. I wouldn't be carrying bags around town if I didn't really need to.

Enjoy

I'd give central a miss and walk a bit further to Voyagers, then I'd meander down to HSB on the Market, on to Greenplace, scoot across to Basjoe, possibly hit Rusland, onto Kadinsky and arrive at Dampkring. Have fun

You have been posted on the June Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.

I'll be arriving on the 4th. Staying the 5th, and leaving the 6th if interested in a TnT. I'm also staying at Voyagers so it's rather close to Centraal Station.
