Hitting Dam within a month

Alright, So it's my first time hitting Dam, Not smoking weed though, Have been for 3 years and Amensia Haze/White Widow is what I've been on recently around 9 months or so.

Anyway I've got a few questions I'm hoping people might be able to answer?

• I'm 20, But I'm planning on hitting Dam with my bro, He's 17, What are they like for restrictions? Can he purchase weed still or have I got to purchase it, I mean I'm 5ft 8" tall he's near on 5ft 11" at 17 but he does look around the 18 mark,Would he get I.D?
• Recommendations for coffee shops , I plan on staying at the Kooyk hotel (Leidsekade 82 HS
  1017 PM Amsterdam) I heard Bulldog is near by but I've heard mixed reviews about it, So any recommendation on decent places with a fairly good price please comment.
• Anyone else looking to hit Dam in around a month's time?

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

A 17 year old just being on the premises can and has gotten a coffeeshop closed down.
You go in and buy and then take your brother ( waiting outside ) somewhere else to toke.
This could be a smoker friendly bar, park, bench along a canal, you will find a place.

Each coffeeshop has it's own ambiance. One man's dive is another man's resort. Try lots of shops and YOU decide which ones you like. Bulldog and Grasshopper are two without much gezelig. Check some of the latest
trip reports for who has what and how good it is. You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

The underage brother shall remain OUTSIDE coffeeshops at all times.

He will be asked for ID, as probably will you. If your business and economic well being depended on it you
would card folks also.
