Concentrates became illegal in Dam, so coffeeshops can't have them on their menus.

Cheers Papi. That's a shame the wax was always a treat.

Sorry for being pedantic but concentrates have always been illegal it's just that the law was hardly enforced until now, or so I hear. They're over priced and not amazing anyway imo so you ain't missing much if that makes you feel better :) Personally I'd rather buy 5g of bud and/or hash for the same price or less. Then again, if you can't splash out on holiday when can you?

Went yesterday and just returned:

Triple X(Moroccan, 20€/g, 'Super Cream' is most probably now 'Tripple Zero'(13€) but didn't take a look) - unspectacular on the first sight but after a closer look you realise this is high quality. Looked unreal under my pocket scope, so pure and clean. Impressive structure! My microscope hasn't seen such pure hash since a couple of years. Even though it really has a strong effect(more on the stoney side)and skunky taste it's way too expensive!
It's execptional(also a good example for the fact good hash has not to be squidgy)but Utopia's 'Amnesia Cream'(13€/g)is the overall winner of this trip.

Shoreline - looked pretty poor(fresh delivery budtender claimed, they only had this big bud(of a side-branch I assume) and it looked poor as well) but smell sold me again. Smell is transfered to the taste, quite fruity but bit different this time, too. Nonetheless a very nice smoke but not very potent as well then.

Needless to say I had a great time again :D !

20e/ gram for a gram?

I can understand they need to make money but 20 a gram is laughable

You're right, Mack. The old discussion about prices in my humble opinion no wiet or hasje is worth 20€ but that's the way it is(in fact as said elsewhere no one should pay more than 8€ for anything  ).
Triple X reminded me of some 'Noga' coffeeshop Kruidentuin in Nijmegen had many years ago(back then it was 15€/g and this was damn expensive for Nijmegen but outstanding, now it's a different quality still nice but 12,5€/g), which was also light and soft. Again, Triple X is damn good but on the other hand not as intense in taste as others.
By the way the poor looking Shoreline was 14€/g.

I have heard a lot of good things about Gardela hash from de Graal and would be interested in purchasing some. However, I have also heard some mixed information about the origins of the plants, how's the Gardela effect-wise - more indica, any couchlock or more uplifting sativa high?

Gardella usually is a stoner

I was told 'gerdela/jardellah/whatever misspell' is 'mix/mixture' in Arabic. So you can't be sure what genetics are involved anyway(could be classic moroccan landrace mixed with afghan strains or could be a paki-strain mixed with a mexican one. BlaBlaBla. Could be anything really.)
I had that Gardela from De Graal like two years ago and back then I only found it okay(more stony). Just take a look!
When I wrote that first post on this page I just came back from my trip and forgot to mention I bought 2g of Super Pollen(8€/g)as well. Only used it for my hash yogurt for the journey back home(makes it much more comfortable  )and didn't smoke anything but I'd take a look as it looked and smelled solid!

By the way I mixed something up as well(pun intended  ): according to my hazy memory and the latest menu on Coffeeshopmenus the second quality is called 'Double Zero' there. I could swear there was no 'Super Cream' listed anymore. Also that there was a 'Zero'('third quality')available as well.

My fav coffeeshop.
Compared to the centre has reasonable flower prices.
Very comfortable (vital for proper sessions).
Decent selection of drinks (also vital for proper sessions)
Will post a full review after my next visit ion a few days.

Such a shame it is in a school zone & can not open till 6pm :(

The old crew is gone (only 2 of them still work there sometimes) the "wife" of the owner now runs the show. Quality went down. Service is gone. The nice atmosphere has been replaced with a very bad vibe. Fuck this place

What a shame!
Will wander down to Club Media if that's the case.
