welcome to the forum

i just want to double-check that both you and your hubbie have read the document How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks

have a great trip ...

I found that if you walk around as if you are driving a car, you'll manage to avoid collisions. Good Luck - Enjoy yourselves.
There must have been a door there in the wall when I came in.

wicked hope you have a great time looking forward to reading how it went going to check Travelogues after this post.

you mentioned tips, if you do read this I'd advise not going out with loads of money esp if going for a stoned late night stroll outside of the district and coffee shops clusters (which i find are safer) and don't chain your bicycle up outside overnight cause it will get nicked.

ahh one last thing if you buy a small blue glass bong maybe try not to sit there and watch it slip out of your hand and smash on the floor - best to put it on the table/chair after a huge hit
