I agree. Hunters is off my places to visit. The bud tender is a right cheerless and churlish chap. Wish I never bothered going in last visit, but simply had to check what this guy was like for myself.

I usually like to give every shop a chance to make an impression, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth a visit in the first place. However, after reading Boner's posts from facebook from Hunter's, sounds like they are making an effort to change... but also not apologizing for the behaviour of the bald dude.

It's a hit or miss with me tbh, I have had some mighty good times in Hunters and some horrible times too. I get this with a few Coffeeshops though, alot of dealers are total wanks that have no time for anyone and give you lip at the best of times. I'd be the happiest guy alive, seeing everyones faces as they walked through the door would be why I get up. Anyway, my mate got sold .8gr of wet Silver pearl at Homegrown(former favourite btw) and when I asked him about the Cheese Mother plant he just shrugged and told me "Look! I have no idea I dont smoke this shit!" It's not just Hunters guys, I have had bad experiences with Barneys, Rusland and Arabica too.

I will be back at Hunters and Homegrown in July because I never kill a Coffeeshop from my list unless I am well and truly fudged off.

Here's my only experience at Hunter's...

Stopped there in October 2010 with three ACD members as we migrated from a Basjoe T&T to Barneyville looking for gawd-knows what strain. I was the last one of our group purchasing - two grams of hash, and had asked the tender if I could photograph the menu. He says 'I really shouldn't do this...' and hands me a laminated menu, complete with stringy tape around the edges. Considering I had never been there before, I had to confirm his generosity and accepted the gift. Being the last one away from the counter, at least one of the guys thought that I had stolen it, seeing the tape. Oh yeah, I had also purchased a lighter, only because it was a Djeep. Love those lighters.

Have no idea who was behind the counter.

No complaints about the hash - Manali Cream black hash, and Sahara maroc hash.

The menu hangs intact, tape and all, on my fridge today. One of my best souvenirs, for what it's worth.

met some new friends yesterday.

took them to grey area. (they have the most fucking killer chocolope right now)

told my buddy the budtender to take care of them.

they asked for the strongest shit he had.

The guy took out the cases... opened them up and told them to check it all out.

They picked the bud they wanted (a nice 2.5 gram bud) and were on their way.... and were super happy.

THAT is the way it's done.

Hunters is shit man.... you walk by and its fucking empty 80% of the time.... and the other 20% its barely full.... plus you cant sit and chat there.... the setup is bad.

visited hunters maybe twice only, over the years, and i never had bad service personally. however my issue at the time was that the weed was stored in plastic tubs, directly under some fluoro lights at the back of the counter. looked cool, but meant my weed was really dried out.
